Maybe the doctors evaluated that this won't make it worse.
Remember, the Sabres sent him out to play NHL games when he was clearly hurt, so I do give the player some latitude in this one. - gcomella34
jack has a union for that though |

It's not bad, just holding 3.5m for 5yrs is some cheddar and are the 1st unprotected. - Buff36
Sure, unprotected, and maybe we can bump the 3.5mm down to 2.5-3 |

I started with Kravstov, Jones, Georgiev, and a 1st and am now at Kakko, Nils/Schneider, Georgiev, and two 1sts for Eichel with a little salary retained. - rangerdanger94
Little? Your making Eichel a 6.5 million player for 5 years. Sub Laf.
I should note that your gonna get contentious results coming to a message board with insane low ball.
Willing to move on, but like with the above package and 1M retained we could make it work. 3.5 no way. |

3 garbage player and you want us to hold salary.
My god Ranger fans 😂😂 - Sabretooth9
If I am the Rangers no way I give up all of that. who knows if Eichel will ever be able to play competitively again. He needs to prove he can play them both sides could talk deal |

How about Eichel comes to NY and Saquon goes to Buffalo, fair? - rangerdanger94
Hey now, I'm an NYG fan.
I'm all about that.
I am scarred to DEATH DG and co are going to pay him.
I'm a big positional value guy. |

If you only retain 1mm or no retention at all, then sub Chytil for Kakko and drop the two 1sts to only one:
Chytil
Nils OR Schneider
Georgiev
2022 1st |

You are nuts to give all of that up for Eichel....If the Rangers are smart they keep their prospects and resign Zib...let Eichel stay n Buffalo. If I am the Rangers I would do the 1st deal would never do the 2nd unless he played this year and proves he is healthy |

This is speculation on my part but, I think Jack wants to be in NY, so that is strike one. Also, Drury and this org have bad blood, strike 2.
I believe that for Jack to play for the Rags, it will need to be a clear win for the Sabres organization. |

I can't say for sure, but when I had C4 herniated my doctor basically told me I couldn't play softball because with the bad disc it puts pressure on the disc above and below and could cause damage to them. |

Garbage players? Have you seen the buff roster?
No way the Rangers would do this trade, Eichel not worth it - GStone
One of my best friends is a rangers fan and I have watched the rangers
The player you named are bums. Kratsov was a 4th line ahler and couldn’t do anything and ran away from the rangers back to the KHL. The Sabres don’t want that character issue and drama
Chyril has done nothing at an nhl or ahl level
Unknown and unproven prospect - which we have a ton of young defensemen
Jack Eichel is an elite nhl center when he’s on the ice
Yeah sorry. Stop with the garbage |

They dont need him..Zibanajed is almost as good as Eichel..sign him and keep the prospects or trade them for a healthy player...Buffalo can keep him |

I don't know if I'd actually pull the trigger on it if I was the GM of the rangers, but I'm just trying to get a sense of what Buffalo fans feel is fair value.
I think at the the end of the day, they aren't going to get anywhere near fair value in real life though.

Then we don’t have a deal. And if this was a package KA was willing to accept, most likely woulda been done already. That tells me your short |

And that's the issue, you're right. Eichel is a top 5 - 10 Center in this league. The value should be a huge return.
But he's publicly tanking that with his antics.
Which is why so many are frustrated here.
I truly hope KA plays hardball, you can't keep rewarding bad behavior, but history shows this doesn't happen often. |
