Standings you say well if it was a normal year the Rangers would have made the playoffs but because of covid and league realignment they missed it so be it . Would I love to see JE in ny yes but don’t need him with a healthy Zib pan and Igor they will be fine and if any of the kids pan out then watch what happens in the next 2 to 3 years .

Normal year would've had the Rangers competing in a division with Hurricanes, Islanders, Capitals, and the Penguins. You'd also have to battle it out for a wildcard spot with the Leafs, Panthers, Bruins, and Canadiens. You wouldn't have made the playoffs either way.

The Rangers aren't making the playoffs next year either. Quite obvious that Drury is trying to turn the team into some 90's era team. Trading away skilled players like Buch and going after bottom 6 goons like Reaves. Would not be surprised to see Zibs on his way out either. Drury would probably trade him for Pat Kaleta if he could.

Living by the stadium there were people everywhere today. The restaurants had grills going early. It smelled and felt like football this morning.

Well all the teams you mentioned they played even more games than normal . except the hurricanes and the last season series they swept them they played Boston instead of the hurricanes witch they don’t do so well against. So your wrong on the match ups . Rangers will have a better chance since they will be playing Boston Washington Pittsburgh New York Islanders less this year .
