Is there a deal you’d find acceptable without Zegras? Drysdale+++?
I’m still Zegras, Byfield, Caufield, Rossi as the start or it gets the dial tone…
They are still PROSPECTS and Jack is a top center in the game, when healthy. And if it takes Adams to wait until he’s healthy. Oh well. Jack can take the team to medical arbitration and live with their decision… - Gr8daygo
What’s the “+++” though?
Originally from Anaheim, i wanted 2 out of 3 of:
Zegras, Drysdale, 3oa
Obviously can’t get 3oa at this point- although I’d be ok if McTavish was part of the package
They’ve now got him and Zegras as good center prospects
I think it’s fair to demand Drysdale + 1 of them in the return (++)

Jack's doctor does make a rather compelling case on the latest 31 thoughts podcast from EF. I'd love to hear another 30 minute podcast from the Sabres' doctors. - lacaprup
It can be better or worse, he doesn't say there's a chance the body reject's the fake disc. There's good and bad in either surgery. The Sabres doctor is pretty well known and has done more than his share of these Surgeries. |

Well all the teams you mentioned they played even more games than normal . except the hurricanes and the last season series they swept them they played Boston instead of the hurricanes witch they don’t do so well against. So your wrong on the match ups . Rangers will have a better chance since they will be playing Boston Washington Pittsburgh New York Islanders less this year . - DRAK666
Are you sure?

If there are any MDs out there, I'm curious: would a patient have to be on immunosuppressants to guard against that? |

I listened to an interview with the doctor who would perform the surgery,
and he was pretty convincing to me that the surgery Jack wants is the way to go - jdfitz77

This podcast makes it clear why Eichel wants the disc replacement and not the fusion. - Minnyhock
That’s the interview i was talking about
Granted, u don’t hear the other side of the story….
but the Doc sounds pretty convincing to me that the surgery Eichel wants is the correct way to go |

Aaron Rodgers is also Connor McDavid.
Best QB of the century but carried mediocre coaching, WR corps, and mostly bad defences every year.
Brady has more rings, Rodgers has better numbers - Pegullaville

What Pach posted is something that needs to be addressed. This is not a minimally invasive procedure.
Any slip up and Eichel is done. His career over. |

Sure
But i doubt Eichel’s team is gonna let some hack operate on him
Listen to the interview
Sounds to me like he’s got A LOT more experience than what that WebMd thing leads to believe
According to him,
he’s done this procedure a bunch of times already
And the case he makes for the surgery sounds compelling to me |

I could have had the surgery when I had my fusion done, I chose the fusion at the time because that part scared me of the rejection cause it gets dangerous then, I chose to have cadaver bones used for the fusion and it worked very well have about 95% mobility in my neck. |

That's pretty damn good.
It'll be very interesting to read the arguments if this does end up getting litigated (and if we are presented with any information) |

This is one of those times where you stay stubborn.
Show some backbone.
Eichel’s camp needs to shut the fvck up. The more they talk, the more teams lower their price.
The more the price lowers, the longer crybaby remains a Sabre. - dadeadhead Definitely, we all know Eichel's is poop |

All those championships in NE. Goes to a new team and... Championship.
TB was 7-9 the year before Brady got there. 5-11 year before that.
Just a coincidence that where Brady goes the team wins?
Brady gets it done when it counts most.

To be fair, not throwing 30 INT really helped.
Winston's yardage and TDs were very good. |

Medically things have changed a lot in the time since I had mine done. But I have to think the Doctor for the Sabres is looking out for both parties. If he has recommended fusion surgery for Jack then he thinks that Jack has a very good chance at making a pretty full recovery, especially at his young age, I was 42 when I had mine. |

Tom Brady has 17 TD & 12 INT & a 89.4 Passer Rating in his Conference Championship game wins.
Tom Brady has 21 TD & 17 INT & a 82.7 Passer Rating in his Conference Championships games overall.
Tom Brady relied on elite defences just as much as they relied on him.
If Aaron Rodgers had the benefit of being average in the playoffs how many more rings would he have ?

Yeah, he said he’s done thousands of these surgeries including NFL players, rugby players, and mma competitors.
The doctor said the failure rate for the disc replacement surgery is 4.8% while it’s 20%
for the fusion. He also said that the fusion would likely have to be done again in 10 years and degeneration occurs over a lifetime leading to serious problems with movement in his later years. The fusion shifts the stress to the surrounding discs.
