One minor point to the bold is the Sabres want Eichel out just as much as Eichel himself wants out, and they do not want him around the team. - kingcong39
He will never be around the team again. They will pay him to sit at home before bringing him back. This is not about JEs future w this team, its about power. This is a hardcore (frank) YOU. The trail doesn't wag the dog |

No not really.
Not getting vaccine is just DUMB. Plain and simple. Extreme STUPID
Elective surgery in an athlete especially…you seek the best of the best - doctordizzle
Its irrelevant how you feel about getting the vaccine. Abortion is murder right?
Tell the people who now have illnesses because of the vaccine it is stupid not to get it.
You shouldn't be so judgemental
Maybe Eichel should have read his contract before he signed it. |

i don't think so...and it enters a whole new realm...
really, what do the sabres have to lose?...they're already regarded as one of the worst run franchises in the league...what's gonna happen if they play hardball? |

When my wife was a candidate for this surgery (by Dr Cappucino none the less) he was very upfront about the fact that this disc's life cycle wasn't yet known. That eventually it would lead to a fusion.
For her at 28 we thought it made sense to do it since it's not like she is a professional athlete. However after fighting the insurance company for so long to get it done, it wasn't an option at that point so she had to do a fusion. - Stripes77
Stripes77, how is your wife doing post fusion? I have herniated, deteriorating and ruptured disks in my lower back. Unable to do fusion surgery due to my Military commitment, but once I retire, I would consider it... after a lot more research. My saving grace is an inversion table at this point.

I believe the bold is a massively incorrect assumption.
His value is low because everyone with a pulse knows he wants out and the Sabres want him out. - kingcong39

Unfortunately not great at this point.
She was able to have two children, but based on her condition from her accident it was really just a last ditch effort to try to give her a decade or two of great quality of life.
She has her good days and bad days. She tough, but it's tough to see her struggle being so young.

There’s a saying… never spite yourself in order to spite others.
What do the Sabres have to lose? This is a brand new rebuild for them and they are starting it off with the most toxic culture and circus in their franchise history - and that’s saying a lot considering the losing culture the last decade! |

That’s what your agent is for.
They said it was a good deal, he signed it.

Another Ryan O'Reilly type return to set them back even more?

sadly, this is nothing new...a trade will happen, will be for less that sub-market value and the team will play on...
at the turn of the century a hall-of-fame goalie was traded for a bag of stale marshmallows while one of the most beloved players in sabres history was traded as well...six years later, they were the toast of the league post-lockout |

Yep. That’s the way it goes with these circuses. But at least the franchise moves on and the players aren’t questioned about it every. Single. Day. |

It’s not irrelevant. Your abortion regardless of what your opinion doesn’t effect your neighbor, co worker etc
As a physician, I actually do have a real opinion and you’re a dumbass if you pass on the vaccine for no real reason.
And ya you do have a right to be a dumb ass.
Don’t have to sugar coat that message on hockey buzz 😂
Jack and every athlete should and do always get a second opinion on such a surgery
And every non athlete should get a second opinion before diving into surgery, especially spinal.
Seen too many go wrong…especially when compared to the desired outcome |

Nah this ain't it
You want Eichel, I get it, but you're not getting him cheap. What's worse, having to answer a few where is Jack questions or answering questions about why you got nothing for him?
Part time pain (uncomfortable questions) for long time gain is a better option here

I really don't understand the agents approach here. In my eyes they're not making him a desirable property. KA needs to hold strong. This is a defining moment in his short career as a GM. |

Friedman or the podcast? 🤔 - skullthrash
freidman's podcast on this...am of the belief that a lot good insider information comes from agents...
notice the webmd overview of the doctor...
"Dr. Chad Prusmack, MD
Specialize mainly in all minimally invasive surgical procedures..."
this is anything but "minimally invasive" |

You’re not getting a top 10 center for a garage sale price.
You’re team and any other team trying to get Eichel don’t have the luxury of having untouchables.
Eichel is the best player in any deal(the teams rumored to be involved).
You want him?
You have no untouchables and be prepared to lose your top tier assets.
Or
You can see yourself out. |
