The rangers most recent offer was Kravstov + Jones + Georgiev + 1st
Kravstov is a future top line winger, in my opinion, and Jones and Georgiev seem like they will be in the NHL for a long time but are definitely more “throw ins” as Jones is a middle pairing defenseman and Georgiev could teeter on that fringe starter/career backup line.
For what it’s worth, Kravstov is considered a rangers untouchable. - rangerdanger94
That’s a sh!t offer and you know it. |

It will be a great day when this Boston wanker is finally traded out of town.
It's embarrassing...
aside from the fact the team management has been embarrassing the last many yrs...
that the wanker is/was the captain of this team as he clearly has shown through his time in Buffalo and especially now that he is not captain material.
KA needs to remain patient and make the right trade.
IMO as this bs plays out...the best we should expect back in a trade for the wanker is 2 grade A pieces ...some combo of solid 1st line player/1st rd pick/top prospect ...they were never getting back ~4 good players/picks as often mentioned by the media. |

I think Adams shown plenty of backbone, and it's commendable.
What we don't know is the tone of the offers.
If offers have come that are everything short of the best prospect a team has, like Zegras, then Adams may need to lower his acceptable return.
If it's truly been dogpoop, then continue to hold the line. - kingcong39
And I think that's part of the reason he's holding on. If he can hold until some team all of a sudden realizes they NEED a 1C NOW and Eichel is healthy, this can change.
If he does it now, like you've said, everyone knows he wants out and the Sabres want him gone.
But I think he needs to hold the line until he has the absolute advantage, which IF the org can weather it, can come if he's healthy and is released to do something like play in the Olympics.
And I think we all know that sounds great in theory, but........ |

Meh, teams break contractual agreements all the time. We didn’t honour every year of Risto’s deal as we traded him to another organization.
I think the way Jack and his agents are going about this in the media is disgraceful, however, I’m not going to blame a player for using leverage when the leverage is with organizations 90% of the time.
If it was up to Sam Reinhart he would have signed long term a few years ago, the organization had no issue using RFA leverage. I don’t blame Sam for asking out this offseason either when he had the leverage.
Kevyn Adams overplayed his hand with Jack - Pegullaville
Exactly what leverage do Eichel and his camp think they have?
They don't have any, which is why it's being negotiated in the media. They're out of options, except one which is medical arbitration which they haven't filed for because they know they will lose.

I'm sorry, but as much as you're pumping up the return above, that's not going to do it, and I wouldn't accept that if I'm Adams.
Also, Kravtsov being labeled as untouchable is funny.
The Sabres would need something like Chytil, Scheider, the 22 1st, and whatever makes the cap work.
If you can't make the above work, the Sabres move to another team. - kingcong39
So was Lias Andersson, now he’s signing two way deals in LA.
Kravtsov is a 3rd line winger most likely, if he ends up a top line winger I’ll eat my hat. |

OK a different picture. Thanks. Is that him in the Sabres jersey ? Sort of looks like him, but if you zoom in, the # on the helmet shows a 9 and maybe something else...a 6 ? Isn't 96 Bjork's # ? - kritter65

Rangers beat writer mentioned it, he’s as solid as Bob McKenzie when it comes to rangers reports.
https://nypost.com/2021/0...ver-filip-chytil-signing/
There is a strong sense that Chytil would necessarily be included in a package going the other way in a hypothetical deal for Eichel, because the Sabres need a center in return and all that. But one individual with some knowledge of the proceedings told The Post on Thursday that the latest entreaty includes Vitali Kravtsov, Zac Jones, Alexandar Georgiev and a first-rounder, but not Chytil.

I'm say it again, I don't think his health has much to do with the return not being optimal.
I think it is all about the very public divorce and teams feeling the Sabres need to trade Eichel.
Simple as that.
Adams so-called advantage was the offseason before the 20-21 season. Any advantage he had is gone now. |

Not sure I totally believe the above considering teams use the media all the time to get information that they want made public, but the offer above is not enough, simply put. |

That’s a sh!t offer and you know it. - dadeadhead article about Kravtsov, He failed to make the Rangers' NHL roster out of training camp, sulked about being sent to AHL Hartford, decided to go back to Russia to play in the KHL, struggled there for about a month-and-a-half, and ultimately returned to the AHL. |

i love this line:
"A further point of concern is that our camp was initially under the impression that the Sabres specialist was in agreement with the Artificial Disc Replacement surgery until that was no longer the case."
just what gave them the "impression" that the sabres doctor was ok with this?

If the Sabres were done with Jack that they said, "We're not paying you anymore for the term we signed you for." then yes, Jack would be in the right. That's not honoring a contract.
If the Sabres after next July say, "We're buying you out or sending you to X team that you didn't authorize despite your NMC" that's not honoring a contract.
If the Sabres say, "Jack we are going to shop your contract to another team that will honor the deal you signed with us this year because there is no provision in the contract saying we can't do that until next July" that is honoring the contract.
So trades are not breaches of contract or honoring them. |

So JE and his agents are calling the Sabres' medical staff or doctor a flat out liar... wow that is never a good look.
Just no way no how he can be anywhere near this team when the season starts or even camp. There would simply be a complete circus and not one other question asked everyday and second ...except for what is up with Jack.
Man I feel bad for Sabre fan. |
