In condos, unless you have forced water heating, the forced air in most condos is where you get most of your dust from. So you don't only get your dust, but everyone else's, too!

If you're a bit of a germaphobe, you can get an air purifier/fan/heater by Dyson that works well in smaller condos. You might want to look at a smaller purifier for your bedroom, if you decide to do this. It's a bit pricey, but worth it if it's a concern.
