I've seen this a lot. I kinda feel like he's talked enough to medical professionals to know what can be done and what can't. Would you risk 50M to just have a skate with the boys. I doubt they're going 100%, and his medical team probably said something along the lines of you can't really make it worse, it just might be really uncomfortable. TBH, none of us are in any of the medical rooms, and are purely speculative at this point.

Terry's stubborn pride is what got him screwed in the ROR deal. Salary retention is not ideal, but it's better than settling for a bag of Berglunds, and carries more leverage than a short term cap dump that will take ice time from the kids. It's probably the only way to get a grade A piece back in return.

It is in the CBA, it is in his contract which he knowingly signed.

There is no basic human rights violation.

He has his right to a second opinion, he went that route. He can file for medical arbitration, but hasn't done so.
