The only difference is in net I would take those goalies over the ones we currently have

My understanding is the disc replacement will last 10-15 years and then he will need fusion.

After a fusion the next steps usually mean fusion on the disc above and below the fusion but the time table for that is a case by case basis.

Truth be told any type of replacement, fusion, spinal surgery is always a case by case basis.

Those players playing big minutes for the whole year for the first time is going to be something to see. Not to mention D is not just defensemen it is a 5 man unit and with your top players gone, Jack and Sam, it's going to be troublesome.
