Really getting the impression this guy can’t wait to get rid of tarasenko. Not exactly the best sales pitch - Cptmjl
Honestly if I thought he could return to the team and finish out his contract then I would be ecstatic to keep him. Unfortunately his agent when scorched earth and it may not be possible. Tarasenmo will hit 30 this year with out an issue |

I hate Trotz . He cost the Islanders the Stanley cup with his stupidity and moronic lineup decisions. Trotz is an overrated pos moron. Cant win when you don't score. Only way Zajac plays is when someone is hurt that is it. Islanders pp cost them game 7 a shorthanded goal. Wahlstrom is going to break out this season. And if he is a healthy scratch for Zajac or some other washed up loser I will go nuts . - Hockeyislife

I have said it many times that I cant stand Trotz. They cant fire him soon enough. We lost vs Tampa because of him. Tampa shut out the islanders twice in the series. We lost because he rather see komarov on the first line and Zajac in Wahlstrom place. And saying Palmieri on the first line is fantasy hockey is a fireable offense and replacing our leading scorer lee with komarov who cant score into an empty net is beyond stupid. they can't fire this moron soon enough. I will celebrate the day this imbecil is kicked to the curb |

You're assuming Wahlstrom was healthy after this hit.

I heard somewhere, ( not quite sure where or by who ) that Wally will be the leagues MVP this year and have more points than McJesus. That said if Trotz can’t see that he should be kicked out the door and Lou should go right after him. |

You may think he'll coast his way to 30 goals, but there's really no guarantee that he will. He's played in about 1/4 of the Blues games spanning the past two seasons and had three shoulder surgeries.
Mabye Armstrong is demanding a guy like Beauvillier, in which case the Blues can likely keep Tarasenko or deal him elsewhere. I'll agree with you that some of the spare parts packages that Isles fans (not necessarily here) are hoping would land him are ridiculous, but I don't think Lou is going to move a young skill player like Beau for him.
At this point the market has moved on a slew of other players and Army's options, that are acceptable to Tarasenko, are dwindling. Maybe Tarasenko wants out bad enough to open up to the idea of a trade to a team like NJ who can afford to part with younger players/prospects, but I haven't seen any news on that yet so I'm not assuming that's the case until it's reported. Blues aren't exactly negotiating with much leverage here so I'm not sure why exactly anyone would be offering up big time players/prospects/picks for him. |

I thought Wahlstrom had a neck injury but it was a knee injury. If he was healthy then put him in. If he was not effective then take him out. Trotz said he was good to go. |

There is a very, VERY small part of me that wants to see Wahlstrom traded for Tarasenko, just so that we could witness his/her/it’s mental breakdown. |

new article out on the Athletic from Staple. I no lone have a subscription but it sounds like he thinks Lou is looking to trade for a D-man more than Tarasenko which makes a lot more sense. |
