lot of flexibility now with Miller and JD both able to play C/W and I believe Garland/Pod/Hog are comfortable at both wings as well - Nucker101

Had nice chat last night with Travis Green about #Canucks changes. Story up soon. Travis didn't reveal F lines but doesn't rule out J.T. Miller as C. With that in mind, try this on for top 9:
Hoglander-Pettersson-Boeser
Pearson-Horvat-Richardinson
Podkolzin-Miller-Garland - VANTEL
Or maybe Green finally realizes EP is a winger and they keep the lotto line intact with Miller in middle full time.

i like the idea of mixing the lines to spread out the talent, as long as you keep rookies off the same line, and shrimps off the same line.
How mad would Horvat be if we finally improve the top 6 and he is stuck with Pearson and Dirk Diggler in a shut down role.

I just meant that the salaries seem low for people dedicated to supporting the most dominant athlete on the planet.

$100k for a chef at Earls? Really. Looked it up and this sites states “The typical Earls Kitchen + Bar Head Chef salary is $66,459 per year. Head Chef salaries at Earls Kitchen + Bar can range from $46,521 - $70,017 per year. This estimate is based upon 7 Earls Kitchen + Bar Head Chef salary report(s) provided by employees or estimated based upon statistical methods. When factoring in bonuses and additional compensation, a Head Chef at Earls Kitchen + Bar can expect to make an average total pay of $67,954 per year.”

$364k for a doctor is outrageous (in Canada). The highest paid surgeon in Fraser Health makes $281,434. All FHA salaries are posted here:

This looks better. Ideally we have one more winger with a bit more skill to plus into the highmore slot, I think Motte could score 15 playing next to Miller though |

I really cant imagine taking what Miller brings on the top line including being the guy willing to step in front of EP and drop gloves with people taking liberties and shove that on the 3rd line. I cant imagine how soft the 1st line would be with those three you selected.
JD was brought in for 3rd line C... and he's one of the best shut down forwards in the league according to his shot suppression stats from last season.
EP/Miller/BB
Hogz/BO/Garland
Pearson/JD/Podz
Highmore/Sutter/Motte
Not sure who out of the new guys who can play off their natural wing or not...but thats how I see it. |

He's too good to be a winger and not a guy who will be strong on the boards. |

I said tweaking his lines.
My lines are as follows…
Miller EP Garland
Pearson Bo Boeser
Hog Dlcky Pod
Motte Sutter Highmore/Lockwood
Even then they change in game. I’ve different lines for that. |

Usually that is the case but he won’t get extra attention so I believe he will be the same or even better. Adding Garland & Pod & even Dlcky will deepen the depth. Bo finally gets wingers to work with. |

You sir have never been a chef. Cooking for 1 is very challenging - I mean, if you’re paying someone $100k you expect some variety, not just chicken and pasta every day… |

Obviously I was exaggerating. Plus the cooks at Earls aren’t ticketed Chef’s (typically). The guys I know who are running professional kitchens, have formal education and experience are certainly in the range of $100k.
I don’t know much about doctors, I defer to you expertise, but I have an uncle who is a retired GP, who was in hot water years ago for inappropriate prescriptions - I believe doctors are compensated for the drugs they sell? Maybe that’s changed now… |
