Takes me back to when I first joined this site, it was the wild west - Nucker101
Yeah, two guys I know you used to come here but it's was a fight nightly about the team. So many heated exchanges.
It was fun as long as you could forget about it after. My buddies couldn't handle how stupid some people were. |

I remember that in your direct mail to me. You said you had two friends that use to come here but they couldn't stand Marwood. News bulletin no one likes him

Yeah, Panda quit because of you and Bieska3. He hated Bieska3 a slight bit more.
Lots of people dislike each other in here. It's not really a big deal. If you aren't getting along with someone, don't talk to them. Marwood and I avoided each other for long time. I even PM'ed Makita and asked what Marwood was like outside of here. Said he was an alright guy, so I just stopped talking to him till things cooled down. We found a common ground and don't hate each other right now. That could change again.
Just like you and I right now. If you don't like what I have to say right now, it's not a big deal.
I mean I don't hate you right now, I'm not sure why you have been going out of your way to talk about my mother and other things. Whatever call me "super scout" if you don't want to have a little extra info on prospects for the future. I won't post anything.
You're kind of making a big deal about a lot of things that I don't know why you feel like they need to be mentioned. I'm not going to deny anything, I just don't care, poop was said. It's in the past. I've moved on. |

The reason I posted it is I was showing you guys what it is like to listen to the nonstop whining that goes on here. It is annoying as hell and now you know how the other side feels about listening to the whining about things that are useless. Who really gives a rats ass is the third line center signs for two or three mil. - VANTEL
Well, it is directly related to the actual blog that Carol posted, in case you haven’t read it. She listed several comparable players and what they signed for, to try and indicate what we can expect. I don’t care what any of the players earns. I don’t give two poops that Aquaman just doled out $32 or whatever million for Lui and his 1.5 years of service. As a fan I care about the ratio of salary relative to the salary cap because when there are a lot of inefficient deals it makes it tough to be as competitive as you can be. So yes, the third line C matters. If his deal is $4.5 like Sutter was that is $2 m less they have to upgrade their dreadful D core. |

Is Podz for Calder still a topic?
Or is Podz bound for Abby since the 4th line is full of vets? |

Seriously post what you want. I can chose to read it or not.
I skip over a lot of posters like the nut suck from Seattle . If I think someone is only coming here looking to stir crap I skip . Simple as that.
I am sure there are people that like who is available in round three and four.

I mean, 50 years without a cup will create some hate ... messageboards and elsewhere hahaha.
I’ve been quite critical lately, but I’ll admit this lineup looks better than I thought he could do this offseason. That said, we’re a couple injuries away from relying too much on prospects and scrubs.
If we had toffoli in our top 6 I’d be much happier, and it was very achievable so that’s frustrating. I just hate walking away from such blatant chemistry ... and I never understood offering a goalie 4+mil on the obvious downtrend, who was JB competing with there?? |

He would need to put up about 50 points to be in the running. That is a tall ask for a guy short on finish. |

You have been here longer than almost anyone. What are you 90 years old now?
Back to what you said, Toffoli does look bad on Jim. Enough said. |

Full 82 game schedule, I would think he's going to have to put up 70. Probably a pretty decent rookie class coming up this year. |

I did read the blog and I also seen you post the same question in the last blog before Carol posted her blog. So it had a bit of a carry over with my response. As much as you think it was directed at anyone in particular it is not because as you mentioned it is even worse on Twitter.
I disagree about Sutter and even Beagle and Roussel. They made the Canucks a hell of a lot better than Highmore Boyd Vesy.
I really don't care if they pay Richardy 2 or 3 . If it bothers you then you are allowed to not like it. Unlike most here I don't think Canucks have Cap Issues and if they did there is always a solution. More importantly I don't care about the cap so if I make jokes about the people that do care it is my guilty pleasure.

Dawg daze of summer might be my favorite time on HB.
The come down from free agency and the draft has hit hard for some it seems.

Yeah in hindsight it left egg on his face. But at the time they lost MVP Marky to Flames and 1 week of bubble Demko was small sample to bet season on. They signed Holtby to be a tandem not back up.
In some ways, Demko earning starter spot against Holtby may have been good for his development. |

Just saying 50 seems to be about the minimum for a forward. Unless he is also getting nominated for the Selke, then maybe 35 will be enough. |

I doubt Toffoli was going to score 28 goals if he played for Canucks. He scored 9 of his 28 against a crappy Canucks team. I really also don't think he will score 28 next year also when things are normal and he is playing Bos TB Fla and other teams.
Toffoli had a career year but I don't think the Habs will be the same team next year .

See I have to politely disagree there. Demko wasn’t a 19 or 20 year old. He was/is mid twenties. Either he’s your guy or he isn’t. To me vegas cemented it. Then you sign an Alex stalock or something for a mil.
It’s like the Canucks are scared their next goalie will be too good too young ... felt that way with schneider too.
I also hate how it seems everyone knows who benning is going to target in the off-season and that player ends up getting mucho million dollars and term ala ryan Miller, loui eriksson, Tyler myers, holtby. Feels a bit one track minded and lacks an ability to adapt ... or multi task in the case of toffoli.
Lookit me all negative again haha. |
