I don't have bad memories of Domi, nor do I wish any ill upon him. When he left I simply said thanks for your time and that I appreciated that he seemed to enjoy being a Hab. That said, how can you question my not wanting him back on the team and then state the above bolded? I've been direct and consistent with a few jokes in between, your two paragraphs in this one comment alone are practically bipolar

There's no ambiguity. I'm saying he's ultimately not a good option because he didn't get along with the locker room, but as a player I don't see why everyone thinks he sucks.

again, don't you find a 5.3M cap hit that could be used on a more useful/reliable player is anything but cheap?

I wasn't necessarily talking about a "Danault 2.0", and Domi is probably the complete opposite of that. at that point if you really can't find anyone then I'd rather start the season with the extra cap space, might come in handy later on.

It's the eyes, clearly you don't see what everyone else did. When he's not scoring at an unsustainable pace he's a net negative player - they just brought in Hoffman who is a similar in that sense, he just scores more consistently than Domi.

Domi was moved out for a reason. Subban was moved out for a reason. Wanting them back when neither would make any real difference in winning anything meaningful and would eat up more cap space than they're worth while ignoring the locker room issues from their first stint with the team is...I can't find a nice word for it so I'll just say a poor team building strategy
