The longer this goes on, the more I wonder what is going to happen. Until Jack has surgery (and shows he is healthy) no team will touch him at least not at the price tag Adams is looking for.

The only way this works out for all parties involved is if Jack has the surgery and plays a handful of games and gets moved after the season. But, I am not sure if that is even possible at this point due to the damage being done. It will take one heck of a media tour to smooth this over if Jack were to ever come back and playing for the Sabres.

Both parties are pretty screwed due to Jack's and his agent's antics.

I think that would have come out by now.

Yes I know he is skating and taking one timers, but if he was totally healthy it would be well known by now unless the Sabres are completely failing at that as well which is possible...cause you know Buffalo and all

Things that get leaked to the media are leaked for a reason.

This is like when a couple is going through a divorce and one side starts posting things on Facebook to make them look like the victim and the other one stays silent.

So from the look of it, the cap will rise about $1 million each year until the 2026-2027 season which would expect a higher cap jump.

Also the current CBA would extend until that season when the "debt" players own to the owners is paid off.

So the cap for the 2025-2026 season will be $85.5 million
