Any of you mofo's ever hear of Wolf Alice ? Just got into them recently. Reminds me of 90's alt music. Female singer/lead guitarist and she's super-talented. Check out some of their stuff from their latest (third) record, "Blue Weekend" - which is a mix of 90's alt, punk, adult alternative, soft-rock, and basic rock-n-roll :

FYI, their first two albums were of the "kick-ass" variety. This new one is pretty mellow in comparison. I would say "Blue Weekend" is more for your wives, and the previous 2 were more rockin'. However, I love this new album. Guess that makes me a sensitive guy.
