OH BOY CARP BOMB
Rick Carpiniello
@RickCarpiniello
Just tossing this out there as I head for some vacation time ... DO NOT be surprised if Mika Zibanejad is in the deal that ultimately brings Jack Eichel to #NYR - jimbro83

I agree. I think this is getting ridiculously overblown. It's just clickbait bullpoop in the middle of summer. - JRR1285
well between this though and Vally keeps saying his spidey sense is tingling, it's hard to ignore something is going on

I need a huge blockbuster trade |
|
|
|
I totally believe Zibianjed not being happy about trading Buch, its extremely believable - jimbro83
Does he realize we needed to trade Buch to afford to pay him 9 mil+ next summer? |

I don't hate this, want no part of paying him 10 million a year - TPC
Yea, at the end of the day, Eichel at age 24 at 10 mil per year is better than signing Zib to that type of money at age 29…. |

Also the fact that beat writers are now jumping on this Eichel to New York trade also, yea something has to be in the works. Doesn't make sense to throw this out there if nothing was going on |

I'm not saying something isn't brewing but the Mika angle is absurd, at least to me. |

I think the thought would be Zib is worth two 1sts at the deadline as a rental |

he does, but, I will say, it doesn't mean he would stay in Buffalo
and, it's definitely been speculated he's very unhappy about trading Buch - jimbro83
I don't believe these clowns for a second with their "speculation". |

If Mika is traded it will expand to a 3 team trade. Which makes me think what else is involved.
Also if we are trading Zib you would think we aren't giving up that many high end prospects to? Maybe the 3rd team will supply Buffalo with those prospects to get Zib. |

welp, for Carp, after the Giordano fiasco, if the Rangers end up acquiring Eichel and Zib isn't part of the deal, Carp is finished.

So you think its reasonable that he is going to waive his NMC TWICE?
I think its more reasonable that Drury really has NO interest in Eichel and is just allowing all of these "sources" to seemingly keep us in it. I stated earlier, I really don't think Eichel is coming to Rangers. The circus no longer comes to MSG and Drury is running the organization the way that he sees fit.
Playing along with the Eichel rumors allows him to QUIETLY make another deal elsewhere. Lets see what he can do...

If they trade Zib does that mean Strome is staying? Still don't like paying him at all either. Or they trying to get 2 centers? So many questions |

Then (frank) him. I'm so tired of everyone being a (frank)ing baby. - JRR1285
My guess is that this is overblown by media/fans.
These guys have played the game for a long time by the time they get to this point. How many times have they built a relationship with a teammate only to have them or even themselves get moved? It sucks, it feels poopty to lose a good friend. And then they get back to the business of winning hockey games. I've never heard of someone being so distraught by it that they quit the organization. |

No where in the tweet does it say Zib would go to Buffalo. He just says he would be in the trade. If Zib is involved its def at least a 3 team trade lol |
