Yeah unfortunately that ship has sailed. I didn’t like the trade or how much of the cap Jones will command but it’s water under the bridge now. I only hope Jones lives up to his salary and the Hawks can build a team around him. If as Ogi says Jones takes the team from being bad to being mediocre it’s gonna be a long eight years of this board screeching about Jones and Stan.

I really don't understand. Vegas says they're limited by the number of contracts they can have, BUT he is their contract in Chicago's organization. Then why isn't he playing for Vegas' AHL team?

I honestly expect Keith to perform better in Edmonton this season. Nowhere close to the player he once was but better to what I believe he is still capable of being at 38.

He looked like a player trying to do far too much last season and ends up doing everything wrong. JMO.

Agree or could have signed Hamilton who not great defensively but could skate the puck out of trouble lead the rush quaterback a pp take pressure off of bovist and still keep draft picks and boqvist sign McCabe to play with Hamilton. And drafted Sillnger allen and dach and have 2022 1st in deep draft.

I love me some Pulock and Pelech, man do they hold down the fort, here’s hoping that McCabe and Murphy can play a similar role. As far as Jones, yes they gave away more than I’d have liked, and paid him more than I’d have liked. Yes, I know that your metrics showed that he struggled last year, but that Columbus team sucked last year as well, which am sure had some impact on those metrics. Dcat improved his 200’ game, Kubalik improved his 200’ game, Dach hopefully plays a full season, Hagel will have another season under his belt, Kurashev showed signs of being a contributor defensively and offensively, Toews back. The bottom line is they will be more entertaining to watch than the last few years, cup contenders, not even close, but me, I’m looking forward to this season. JMHO..

I was only doing RHD. It gets far uglier for Seth if we move to the LHD.
