Not very much though.

I’m open to anyone up there at the moment.

Like most of us, I have literally no knowledge of Michael Bunting's game. From what I've seen in limited videos and read, he is a solid net front presence with decent hands in tight. He works well along the boards and isn't afraid of physical play. He has a decent shot from what I saw. He could be a decent contributor on one of the top lines. 21 games isn't much of a sample size to draw from though.

the Jays are just the Leafs that play baseball.

4th in the division with a run diff of +111, 7 games behind the Rays

TBR +105
Boston +49
NYY +13

what they should be

This is entirely on the leaky bullpen. Like the mook that came into the game with an 8-0 lead in the 8th yesterday and up 5 straight hits (to the bottom of the order) including a 3 rbi double to a puke that had a .102 batting average. The (frank)en ballboy could do better. That offense is great, the number of games the Jays were leading in after 5 innings and have resulted in losses due to bullpen incompetence is shocking.

Boston has very good starting pitching and a reliable bullpen, same with Tampa. Jays have good starting pitching and an arson squad in the bullpen.

Jays actually gonna (frank) some other teams up and get shiit done.
- fifty__missions

I think so also, this team is a lot like 2015 in a lot of ways.. and they added some good arms at the TDL.

also worth noting, they Jays are the youngest team in the league..only way to go us up

Boston's starting pitching was very good in the first half, but no one expected that. They are coming back to their level now.

Some are inserting a guy with 20 NHL games. 🤷🏻‍♂️

- Garnie

Some are inserting a guy with absolutely no skill as a hockey player in the top 3.

That’s kind of the point of philanthropy in general.

So, best African born player of all time? Steve Nash?

I have been similarly frustrated (to put it mildly) with their bullpen this year. That said, some of the moves of late should solidify the pen.

This is what we have now:

Ryu
Ray
Berrios *
Manoah
Matz
Stripling

Cimber *
Richards *
Soriano (10 day) *
Hand *
Borucki
Dolis
Mayza
Romano

Saucedo (likely optioned when Soriano is back)

* is new in case that's not obvious.

Cimber and Richards have been very good, and while Hand lost game one against Cleveland, he'll probably round out to decent. I'm not a huge fan, but he's better than Dolis and probably better than Borucki and Mayza.

With the inclusion of Berrios, we'll probably stop seeing those stupid bullpen games that tax the pen and leave them ripe for the picking in longer series. I don't LOVE the bullpen, but it's significantly better now than it's been all year.

No need to be a Richard, I know you don’t like him, no need to go full Roger and tell me every time.

Pre-Advanced scouting.

But he only brainwashes the ones good enough to play with Raptors influence.

It’s almost like Borucki is new. He hasn’t been back that long has he?

Sorry G, that post may have had a bit too much tone to it. My bad.

PS...Engvall still sucks and I have no idea for the life of Marty Marincin why you like him so much. But all good brother, we don't have to agree.

My SIL mentioned Bunting the other day. Told him, I'm in the dark too. Just have to hope he's got something we like.
