The only time I was allowed to stay up late was leaf playoff games, I used to cry when they go beat out....I cried a lot.

It’s been a hard road man. Thank god it doesn’t get to me like it did when I was a kid.

The more I think about it....

Sandin/Dermott, Chara for a 3rd pair!

You think Chara would sign here?

You think he would be good next year for the Leafs?

I dunno, I'm thinking I'd rather be giving icetime to Liljegren than wasting it on slow-ass, old-man Chara.

Rubins and Holloway are ahead of Loljegren. I can’t see him ever being a regular with the Leafs.

Isn't Chara better than both for 1 year?

If we're losing Rielly to FA cuz the Leafs are winning the Cup this year, then doesn't it make sense to not play any of the 'maybe' Marlies?

Edit: also, doesn't it make sense to bring in a guy like Chara for a year to help the balls drop of a few players and let him show them what being a pro is all about?

Yes, the game would start at 7 eastern on a Saturday night and CBC would start the broadcast at 8.

There was some show that always aired in the 7pm time slot, it might have been Front Page Challenge, though I’m not 100 percent sure. It’s hard to believe in this day and age.

My dad brings that up every now and then, when he starts to think about how great his current setup is. Multiple TV's and the Centre Ice Package.

It was pretty bad but the memories are priceless. My son buys me the Centre Ice pkg every fall for my birthday.

Liljegren gets no respect here. He should 100% be getting a legit look. He's earned it.

Is it the less combined NHL games for both (zero) or having done less at older ages that convinced you they are further ahead?

Lol. You just never run out of stupid commentary. 🤣

You have to be good enough.

Loljegren seems to not be able to take that next step. He’s been given the opportunities. Menell, Duszak, Kral are also likely to surpass him if they haven’t already.

Chara would be fine as a 3rd pairing D if it's a min contract.

On a side note, my ads are explicit today, got a volleyball player bent over looking like she's ready to take it up the pooper alternating with a limp pickle that you will become if you take testosterone 🤔 😁

Liljegren will be better than Sandin.
Much higher upside.
Both will make the team coming season.
Get Chara, would be a very good add.

Before that -- Fire Dubas.
thanks.

I would say at this point in time Sandin is looking more promising than Liljegren, who is a year older.

I think Sandin has high top 1-3 potential, Liljegren more 3-6 potential.

I would be okay with Chara as a steadying presence on the back end.
