We say this but as a GM said they just expect the last couple years for the player to go on LTIR.

We care about contracts that look good but teams are just doing what it takes to win cups.

I think he is good, he's definitely a #1 D. Not Elite or generational #1 but top 30 among NHL D for sure. Someone has got to be paid more than the last guy.

I would rather have Nurse over Jones.

Disagree imo he’s a solid #2. There isn’t 32 #1’s to around some D just fall into that role.

All I was seeking is other GM’s out there doing lousy moves & less focus goes on JB. Yes he should be critiqued on his own managing good or bad or indifferent.

Not a fan of the contract, it is a bit much but he plays 25 min a night in all situations and produces. He is also physical and not a defensive liability like QH.
