The Seattle Kraken have signed Will Borgen to a two-year, $1.8 million contract.
Seattle took Borgen from Buffalo in the expansion draft. He had no points in 10 contests with the Sabres last season. "Will is a responsible, defensive defenseman who's size and physical style of play can add a spark to a lineup," said Seattle Kraken GM Ron Francis. "He's still young and developing. We believe in his upside."

I feel kinda bad for Eakin. He is exactly who we thought he was so its a bit unfair that he is going to be the new whipping boy.

I would prefer Girgs at 4C and Caggiula/Whatever Larry at 4LW. Meatballs isn't a huge fan of Eakin seemingly so it could happen.
