It was mostly just that new guy who is somehow the worst person to ever post on this blog, and that's not an easy thing to accomplish in such a short time.

And Tarasenko is shot. No team wants any part of that for good reason. He had a good run there for a few years, but his inability to top 40 goals, mixed with a lingering shoulder issue and a horrible cap hit means he's probably staying in St. Louis until at the very least, this year's TDL. And even then, he might not be traded until next year. he has almost no value right now.

Yeah I don't know what the deal is with him, his cap hit isn't really that bad though, it's more along the lines of him only playing 34 games in the last two seasons, so his shoulder must be really bad at this point because he is productive when healthy

Okay, I looked at his base salary from this year and not the cap hit, but 7.5x2 years is still crap. If he can play 60+ games this year and pot 25/25 I think he's gone at the deadline but who knows - Shoulder injuries are a lot different than, let's say, neck injuries, which you can skate and shoot and take one-timers with and have light physical contact with despite needing experimental surgery on.

From what's been reported, teams only want Tarasenko at a big cap hit discount, aka 50%.

It's also a huge question mark how viable a replacement Tarasenko will be.

dude, if they could pull off what you laid out:

Meh, same was said about Anderson in CBJ.

Am I remembering correctly that 1st they tried rest and therapy...didn't work, so they cut the season short and he had surgery to repair the shoulder fully.

If I am correct, and you can use Anderson as a basis of how a player can return to previous form, him at t $3.75 would be a deal

Dont take it personally as several others use this term.
10 years with very high success rate and still being called experimental.

No chance πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

It was just for conversational purposes.

Most teams and GM's aren't very creative and they're often also scared to make a move.

Anderson still sucks though? He has not gotten back to pre-injury form. He had 17 goals in 52 games but only 24 points. And a couple big goals in the playoffs. Matthew Barnaby had a few big goals, too. It's the playoffs.

It was only recently approved by the FDA, and has only been done on a few athletes - and the long-term effects are equally unknown.

10 years in clinical trials is nothing.

Oh the irony. Replace Tarasenko with Eichel and you have the same issues.

No ranger danger. Eichel hasn't missed multiple seasons to one injury.

Not really, but good on ya for trying to force Adam’s hand on message board. Got him right where you want him. At this point Buffalo would be lucky to get kravtzov with 3M retained. Amirite?
