So you'd agree no honest person ever would say "they can't wait" to see that group?
- Takemedrunkimhome

it might sound a tad overly optimistic, depending on how you say it or interpret it, yes

in a way though, I can't wait to say STFU to all the haters if Drouin does have a good season

Yeah, I'm just worried his dad's thing will affect him.

Oh yeah I also hope he gets better

some people get inspired by difficult moments and find motivation in them, might be less frequent but everyone reacts differently

No superstar in that group.

But are they helpful player part of a group? Yes, they are.

- Scabeh

They're NHL players that fit a need in the short term and don't hurt in the long term, on that I'd agree. I'd also suggest not one of them moves the needle or gets the Habs closer to a Cup and I'd suggest their place of birth did have a role in signing

At this point I just want Drouin to get himself to a good place. Any quality hockey that comes with it would be awesome but is secondary at this point

oh for sure. and I'm thinking if he is playing hockey again and staying in MTL it's because he's in a much better place than he was a few months ago.

I've decided I know nothing about it so my opinion should reflect that until I do. I have enough uninformed opinions thank you very much

... I will gladly STFU if Drouin becomes what he was supposed to be when we got him.

I'm not holding my breath on this though ... for reasons I already enumerated numerous times (lack of character, will to win, grit, etc).

oh I'm not pretending to know more either, it's more of a hope/assumption... he'll surely address the media at some point before the season starts, I guess we'll have more info then

It's only 6 points more than his career best and it sounds silly huh?

I just hope we get him back at his best... because the Drouin we had before he left was a nuisance on the ice.

Now we know there was something wrong with him.... hopefully it's settled.

You just know someone would find a way to complain if he ended up with these numbers.

while Anderson can finish 25-10 and no one will say anything.
