KK is trending in the right direction. My one concern would be that his actual 5on5 offensive impact is sub-replacement both years, although it's still a small sample size and at 20 years old he has plenty of time to improve. He made a nice jump in year 2

Hopefully now he will get top 6 minutes more often which will help. Offense was never a concern until the NHL level. Need to improve his shot and do things a bit quicker.

After two years people wanted to write Buch off also. Took him 4 years to develop. I was fine moving Buch, but the return sucked. I was over it after a few hours.

He didn’t file for arbitration, so it must not be going too badly. Sam probably wants 7, FL would rather 6.5 max, or maybe it’s more of deciding how long term it will be. Sam probably has a couple different length deals to choose between. Zito will get him signed.

Yes, Im looking forward to seeing him on Barky’s wing, but it will be Verhaeghe on the LW. Huberdeau was on line2 last year, and when Bennett arrived, those two and Duclair were lighting it up. Huberdeau & Barkov still together on PP unit, and Ekblad will take Yandle’s qb spot, add Samson to that. (Verhaeghe probably the 5th guy)

He is gonna walk as a UFA for nothing, Panthers won’t trade him while they are surely going to be a playoff team unless something drastic happens.
