Kulikov would’ve been much better for you guys if he didn’t get wrecked into the open bench door. Mascherin was another of FL’s many poor draft picks, seemed like he wouldn’t sign because he didn’t see an easy (or guaranteed) path to the NHL roster. (But maybe it’s the Panthers’ fault, they bungled the development of many draft picks over the years.) Re-entered the draft instead and wasn’t picked until the fourth round, now it seems (to my biased eye) he is bailing out again instead of fighting for a roster spot in Dallas. He’s a Legend in his own mind.

I really think Botterill was hoodwinked by Ralph. Krueger told everyone who would listen that he wanted to play an uptempo style of hockey and then he went out there and did the opposite.
