Yeah I don’t think the main series has many more seasons left in the tank. Trying to capitalize on shoresey… will it be Fraiser or will it be Joey? - Gr8daygo
They signed on to make 2 more seasons.
Eventually you run out of innuendos to make before it comes repetitive. |

Wonder if CJ Henderson could be a option for the Bills, sounds like Jacksonville could be shopping him. |

Lol he has two seasons under his belt. Give me a break on a one for one - IceColdBeer
He is the Norris winner aka best defenseman in the entire league in only his second season |

To be fair Erik Karlsson also one this awrad, and hes not so great at defense.
Fox is still a great player though.
I was all about Buffalo trying to trade for him when he was with Calgary. |

That’s fair. The one thing about Fox though is he’s got the defensive game that matches his offensive game, unlike Karlsson. |

In a bubble where he did not play the entire league. IMHO, none of last year's awards were worth what previous years' awards are. Should be throw out as a DNQ due to limited competition. |

That’s fair. He did have 6 games against Buffalo to pad his stats
Fox is a stud though. Best defenseman the rangers have had since Leetch, which is saying a lot since the rangers had McDonagh too. |

I went home on lunch to load the truck, popped the tarp off, sat in front of the fan for 15, went back to work.

I don't think you'll find too many sane Rangers fans that honestly say that Fox is the best defenseman in the league. He won the Norris in a shortened season where Hedman had a "down" year and Makar missed some time. That being said he is in his 2nd year and the year that he had was both impressive and very reassuring, mostly because he doesn't rely on skill as much as his IQ, which will likely lead to a pretty consistent career as opposed to someone like Karlsson who outskated everyone until he got hurt. |

Not to troll you, cause I like you, but you have another definition of that award?
Edit: And I'm not saying he's the best, cause he's not, but he's ok |

I love when you reluctantly throw Kakko in these deals like he’s good. Don’t let me interrupt keep going I’m rooting for you. As an Islander fan I hope you get Eichel |

Well that’s kind of my point. Fox is good and you’ll never trade him for Eichel but the Norris is a scoring award for defenseman. We all know that. |

I can't think of a single defenseman in the league I would trade Fox for straight up.
Not Hedman and not Makar. Any other candidates? |

Now this makes you look bad
You can say you want Fox over Hedman because his age, but Makar is better, younger, and proven he is better at every level (he was better in college too) |

A Fox for Makar swap makes little sense for either team but I'd give the edge to Makar.
Hedman's 30 turning 31 in December so that's a no for me.
I wouldn't swap Eichel for Fox 1 for 1, but out of all the terrible proposals Rangers fans have proposed at least that one makes sense as he's one of your best players for our best player. |
