We are heartbroken to have lost a legend in Tony Esposito, who passed away today after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

Canucks found a way without breaking the rules... the rules changed after. They still got spanked for it. I hear people say "the league warned teams that there would be punishment for circumnavigating the cap when the new CBA is put in place"... yet that only applied to a couple of teams for some reason. Teams continued doing it to this day and have won cups because of it. - boonerbuck
Rumour has it, they plan on eliminating the recapture penalty next summer, after Luongo recapture expires.😉

I already walked away from the NHL last season over the crooked scheduling and once again the officials caught being crooked as (frank)... they are walking on very thin ice with me right now. Life was fine without hockey... now that I know that... it would probably only take one more thing like that to lose me for good.

Covid & hockey in general last couple seasons can make a fan despondent. Sorta don’t blame you but nothing like a good season can cure that 👍
Pound for pound one of the toughest sob to ever play. 180 lb beast often fighting bigger opponents.
That nose isn't from fighting, it runs in the family. Saw his sister at Cowboys in the 80's, she's got same nose.

Totally understand.
Both my brothers, and many friends, who were all big fans, stopped watching a few years ago, because of various reasons, but mainly the inconsistent rules, and the way the game is played now.

Brown wasn’t any bigger but even tougher.
“Hey Timmy, you got those gloves cemented on or something?”👍🏻
I remember an interview with Phil when he was asked if Ken Dryden was the greatest NHL goalie of all time? He irately and adamantly responded, “My brother was!”
