I dont disagree. We have guys here who change their mind more often than they change their underwear. - Codes1087
To be fair, they're at their computer so often they can't be changing their underwear very frequently. |

I have a pretty decent streak going myself. I was adamant that they would never buy Holtby out.
I'll tell you one thing, I'm dead on about Podz. Bottom 6, book it. 😁 - Load Management
I think Podkolzin will be top 9.😁 |

I heard a debate on that today . They mentioned about the Covid numbers in Japan soaring for the Olympics. So it would have to be a tight bubble all over again for Beijing .
The first question was would NHL players want to go there in the first place with the 4 th wave of the virus taking place and secondly would the NHL allow them to go seeing an outbreak could shut the league down longer. - VANTEL
No covid talk lol. |

Agree to disagree then. I'm in the camp that believes a 21 year old dman has plenty of room for improvement. If he was 24 or 25 with 5 full seasons under his belt then I'd agree that he is what he is at this point. - Nucker101
Giving up on a 2nd year player is par for the course in Canuckville, so let's trash the hell out of him so he will ask for a trade. He's almost a point a game player for a dman at 21, most offensive dmen take longer in the defensive side of the game. |

How is it giving up, when you never had hopes for the player to begin with? |

Meh, you've had guys that have changed their mind on JB a dozen times telling you one way or another they were right wether he gets extended or fired. Same for Green, certain players on the team.
I like that Reuby shows his disdain for QH openly. Right or wrong, you know his stance on it. - golfingsince

Yeah, some of the examples given were things like barriers(plexiglass) along corridors. Imagine leaving the dressing room, walking down the hall (one way) to the ice, and returning along a similar path. No contact with other athletes.
The beds in Tokyo were made of cardboard to inhibit special olympics… |

I like the idea of NHL at the Olympics but they should skip next year. They can resume when it is safe.

It's nice to see people be confident in their opinions but when it gets to the point of hyperbole, that's just as bad as fence sitters. Like people who think Benning is actually an idiot, people who think Hughes isn't a dman, that's a bit extreme and over the top. You can just say that you think Benning isn't a good GM and is better suited for a lesser role in an organization or say that Hughes needs to be paired with a solid defensive dman and not play against top lines in order to be effective. Those are level-headed takes compared to "Benning's an idiot!" and "Hughes is a winger!"
Just my two cents |

When it works out in people's prediction favor, they are the smartest people on hockeybuzz. When it doesn't work out, it was good at the time and hindsight is 20/20 - Codes1087
I would like to add one additional point to make the hindsight crew happy, and the Benning bashers cringe. This was Demko’s third contract. He already had his bridge. Carter Heart’s contract is his second. This was a masterful job. |

That's cool. I'll take that under consideration as I remember how you were among the first to call Benning an idiot.
I'm far from a Benning fan, and I said i'd see how his decisions this offseason play out. I do believe he's kicking the can down the road again but, i'll let it play out. If we're among the top teams in the division and league then it will be difficult to blame Benning for anything he's done. |

Consider whatever you want, I've said multiple times that I overreacted back then and got caught up in Twitter hysteria. I was wrong and I've moved on.
Hopefully some others in here will also calm down with the hysteria and hyperbole. |

You are entitled to your 2 cents, but wanting people to lie about their opinion of a player isn't going to happen with me. If I think a player is a winger I will say so, just like I have said about Elias, at least at this point in his career. |
