Consider whatever you want, I've said multiple times that I overreacted back then and got caught up in Twitter hysteria. I was wrong and I've moved on.
Hopefully some others in here will also calm down with the hysteria and hyperbole. - Nucker101
Do you at least see the irony of someone who overreacted saying don't overreact?
I think you have as good a chance of people calming down as you do of people refraining from slurping.
I personally find the reasonable people are somewhere in between, but you keep getting caught on the edges. |

It's nice to see people be confident in their opinions but when it gets to the point of hyperbole, that's just as bad as fence sitters. Like people who think Benning is actually an idiot, people who think Hughes isn't a dman, that's a bit extreme and over the top. You can just say that you think Benning isn't a good GM and is better suited for a lesser role in an organization or say that Hughes needs to be paired with a solid defensive dman and not play against top lines in order to be effective. Those are level-headed takes compared to "Benning's an idiot!" and "Hughes is a winger!"
Just my two cents - Nucker101
Well that would be reasonable but ruins some posters fun being rude condescending types never meeting nor knowing JB. Keyboards can do that to ppl hiding behind them with impunity. |

I would like to add one additional point to make the hindsight crew happy, and the Benning bashers cringe. This was Demko’s third contract. He already had his bridge. Carter Heart’s contract is his second. This was a masterful job. - 1970vintage

You are entitled to your 2 cents, but wanting people to lie about their opinion of a player isn't going to happen with me. If I think a player is a winger I will say so, just like I have said about Elias, at least at this point in his career. - Reubenkincade
If you truly believe that then more power to you, but professional hockey evaluators disagree |

Not sure Benning signing a bust to a league minimum contract is worth a back pat....

Is he a bust at 23? Hopefully he can cure the injury bug.

Injuries is our favorite excuse. Taking a pay cut on your ELC isn't a great sign. |

Ha - I don’t need no stinking guns. Funny story though, my wife and I went into the Social Security office, a government facility, the guard at the front checked my wife’s purse and she laughed. She said we’re Canadian, you won’t find any guns in there, he said....”guns outlawed in Canada? you might wanna consider getting one now”.
Honest to God.....da fuq |

You know, all the time we’ve spent down here I’ve never seen anyone with an open carry weapon, assuming open carry is legal?
We went to Phill’s Grill for dinner the other night, pub at Grayhawk golf club, there’s a big sign out front on the glass...”No Guns Allowed”. So people must obviously have them. |

He’s had bad luck & hardly enough opportunity to develop like most prospects. D take longer & 750k is a cheap & no risk. If he doesn’t pan out move on. Many other LHD in the system to develop. |
