his floor is higher then any qb not named mahomes and his ceiling is as high as any qb, see last year
I would rather take wilson or dak if not getting allen for the early qb
last thing I would want is Tannehill, Hurts, Burrow or Ryan as my qb - homiedclown
I like Dak and Wilson a couple rounds later than Kyler/Allen go as well.
My concern is what happened with Lamar Jackson. He basically had a similarly dominant season and the follow up just wasn't as good. His elite year, everything went right and it was just hard to replicate that the following year, especially after defenses adjusted.
Not saying that will happen to Allen, but I just feel like he needs to repeat last year to bring value at where he's being taken. It's the same reason I am skeptical taking Davante Adams with the 7th overall pick...last year was so special and elite that it's tough seeing someone replicate it. |

Well glad the pain has calmed down. Shoulder is getting there, starting to lift some weights at 25lbs now, just doing what they tell me. Thanks for asking. |

Think he meant after the Mich upcoming season. He can sign once they're done, get some NHL/AHL experience and burn a year of the ELC, ala Mitts. Hope that doesn't happen, just let him enjoy the rest of his time at school and see the gains of being the guy on that blue line, and come ready to make waves in 22/23. - SDSabre
yes that is what i meant. i think it comes down to how he plays. |

Assuming you're in a real fantasy league with 12 teams, I found middle of the draft order has to go RB/RB. If you want Allen, you will need to take him in round 4. It's tough call based on mocks I've been doing. You essentially short the market by going to QB early, which should open flex players up for you you didn't think would be available round 5. Dak is probably QB3 on my list, but Justin Herbert is close QB4. Mark it down and put it in a safe place.
Like they always say around here, 3ER isn't always right, but aint never been wrong. |

i think he's leaning towards one more year of school...looks like they're building a championship-level team in ann arbor, which would make for a great send off...no need to rush the kid by putting him in a situation he may not be ready for - Michael Pachla
He seemed ready based on his play with Team Canada
But i don’t think it’ll hurt him to dominate the NCAA & win a Nat’l championship either
That’s a once in a lifetime kinda thing
And i don’t think winning ever hurts a guy’s development
Might even be better for him than being up here losing nightly |

Wow Lehner really ripped into the Sabres and there medical staff on how they screwed up his ankle sprain. Just throwing more fire onto the Eichel situation. |

Hes frankin mental. I wonder if he blames the Sabres for that too. |

I remember he blamed the fans for why that team sucked because he said the vibe was bad.
Botterill was - by all reports - terrific to him when he was dealing with his personal issues. He should really stop talking trash about stuff from 5 years ago. |

Guy was nothing but class with us. Was literally hurt when we didn’t resign him and still had nothing but great things to say about the Islanders organization. Was awesome the short time he was with us. |

Here lies the problem
We are gonna need these talented young kids to help us win games at some point
And it’s not gonna turn around immediately once we do put them in the lineup- so they are gonna have to endure SOME losing at least |

That's great, still doesn't shine a good light on the Sabres, especially after what Eichel said. |

When it comes to Power, letting him go back and play a full college season (apart from the time he misses to play at the WJC) is definitely the right idea regardless of the Sabres overal roster composition.
Let him dominate college before throwing him into the NHL. |

16 years old in the brain - DirtyDan
I think that kind of mentality is why he's on his 5th team despite being a very good goalie. It gets old. |
