I think that kind of mentality is why he's on his 5th team despite being a very good goalie. It gets old.

When it comes to Power, letting him go back and play a full college season (apart from the time he misses to play at the WJC) is definitely the right idea regardless of the Sabres overal roster composition.

Let him dominate college before throwing him into the NHL.

Because it makes the Sabres look like sh!t to the outside perception. Especially after what Eichel had to say. Players don't want to come now, makes it even harder if they now they won't be taken care of Medically.

I can't believe our goal position got substantially worse... The worst tandem I have EVER seen.

If anyone else has any bad ones I'd love to see... Modern era only

it's like, this year is (another) write off..hagg will serve his purpose on the bottom pairing and the kids will get valuable minutes at their proper development levels...the only concern really is with the likes of mitts and cozens...being asked to anchor the top two lines at their age, and with limited experience, is not ideal...however, i do think mitts has been humbled enough, and has enough talent, to allow him to handle that role and learn from it...i also think cozens has a rock-solid demeanor that will allow him to carry those minutes without adverse affects to his development

It matters, just like the people on hear who came on saying that what Jack said at his exit interview and his injury wouldn't matter and we still will get a haul for him, that's worked out well so far. Already said players don't want to come here, this does not help and makes it even harder.

Me thinks its a big step for Cozens. He can play but like last year showed is he ready for the amount of work that he has on his plate? He was in and out of the line-up constantly..

Zero chance. He’d not only be delaying his pay day a good 4-6 years, he’d also be cutting his chance at a third contract substantially. Even if he isn’t a “me” type person, that’s just bad business

Remember the Murray tank year with Irbe the goalie whisperer coaching the goalies. We went through 5 or 6 to stay bad. And Irbe kept making them look like superstars.
