Currently the cap is easy to predict. Til trades happen or not we will find out. If a trade(s) then it’s most likely a significant player if about cap space. That would likely be a downgrade on depth on the top 9 being somebody has stepped up as a real impact. That requires a prospect to join the following season. Eg Lockwood or Danny etc. The D looks set whether we like it or not so don’t see savings there. If Demko shines there will be a cheaper back up.

Luongos 3m hit comes off next season. I don't see Boeser getting more than his current 5.5 and Luongos 3 combined. He is covered.

I disagree that the D looks set. I don't think Rathbone or OJ are locks and I don't think paying Myers 6 mil to do what Hamonic does at 3 mil. I sure as hell also don't want to pay Hughes a nickel more than 6 mil a year.

If I could get Reilly next year at 6 mil a year I would not hesitate to use an asset to move Myers to Arizona .
