Abbotsford Canucks General Manager Ryan Johnson announced today that the club has signed forward Jarid Lukosevicius to a one-year AHL contract.

We barely have enough to sign our RFA's... we have buyouts and bonuses next year. And then Brock and year after Bo and Miller. Reilly is gonna want a multi year deal. Like the player but not happening.

Unless we trade away more of our future to get rid of Myers.

There are no expiring contracts of substance though, so there won’t be significant $ to upgrade at any position. Hopefully Boeser gets similar $, and Rathbone comes in around $1m.

Will need to replace Sutter and Motte - hopefully internally. A few other depth players as well, like MacEwan etc. all minor $ commitments.

I like Reilly also and I see him landing a 6x6 . You move Myers out and problem solved.

I know what you are getting at. I still think if they want Reilly and decide to move out Myers then you are just swapping salaries.

I don't think MacEwen will be a Vancouver player very long . Motte might be on LTIR most of the year and can easily be replace .

As it gets closer I will look at the final lineup and maybe buy the AHL package again this year. Dropped it last year for obvious reasons. Really depends on final cuts.

if zach hyman was on those teams he would of been on the 4th line/bench. but, yeah ken holland hes great

British sprinter CJ Ujah, who was part of the team that won silver in the men's 4x100 relay, has been suspended after a positive drug test. If found guilty, Ujah and the British team could be stripped of the medal. Canada won bronze in the relay event.
