I like Reilly also and I see him landing a 6x6 . You move Myers out and problem solved.
I wanted OEL and Garland this year and we had no money and here they are. Everything is possible if you want it. - VANTEL
no way he signs for 6.... not with todays market on Dmen. Everyone is talking about how much Hughes is worth.... Reilly put up similar numbers with a plus 11 and is 6ft 1in and 220. You are way low.

I know what you are getting at. I still think if they want Reilly and decide to move out Myers then you are just swapping salaries.
I don't think MacEwen will be a Vancouver player very long . Motte might be on LTIR most of the year and can easily be replace . - VANTEL
I would gladly swap Myers out.
All those other guys like Motte and MacEwan can hopefully be replaced with players from Abbotsford at $975k |

I don't think anyone is going to pay him 8/9 mil. We will find out next year.

I am probably one of the few nut jobs that enjoys the flat cap. I love the movement and seeing GMs juggling.
It is going up one mil next year but I do enjoy the chaos it creates. I like seeing old worn out players being retired on LTIR and I really enjoy seeing teams stuck with bad contracts. Watching what sucker will sign Hamilton and Jones for 9 mil plus and watching Buffalo trying to move Skinner and Eichel is most entertaining.
#Guiltypleasure.

Speaking as an old fart I say you can never have too many old men on a team. - VANTEL
Edmonton senior citizens. Should fit right in and goes with Kennys thinking. |

If the deal was there, and Petey wanted out, would you do EP for AL and move Miller to 1c?
Lafreniere - Miller - Boeser
Podk/Hogger - Bo - Garland
Pearson - Richardinson - Podk/Hogger
Motte - Sutter - Mackewon/Highmore/? - Retinalz
laughfrenier is worth about 10% of peteys value |

Less wiggle room next off season. The way the roster is looking it’s looking like a quiet one. |

Exactly. JB has made his move & has to pay off. He’s done a good job on top 9 & contracts. The D will decide his fate. Shaw & tougher D need the results. Baumer is still my want gone he’s hangin on a very thin thread. The PP & PK has to improve as a sign we are ascending. |

Players do love leaving money on the table on what is probably their last money contract. Myers MTA 2022 (e5) |

agreed. the team sorely needs some defensive structure overall and better defensive play from the d themselves.
shaw was touted as a systems guy when he was hired (at least from what i read). fingers crossed he's given the support to implement real change.
it'll be interesting to see the dynamics in the new coaching staff. |

Agree totally
In dynamic of the NEW coaching staff do you mean Shaw or did Jimmy hire someone else? |

Kyle Gustafson was hired at the same time as Shaw. He's coached with green before as well.
