Have him in my redraft. Solid choice for sure - SDSabre
He was the best kicker in football last year, imo. He's an absolute beast.
Myers, Gano, Koo, Carlson, Santos, Sanders...
Listen I love Tyler Bass, but the guys saying he's a top-3 kicker are jumping the gun.
The few kicks I saw from Friday night I noticed his form and follow-through look to be improved significantly, but he has to stop pulling those kicks to the right. His leg is Janikowski-esque though.
Koo will be the top kicker in the NFL this season - Book it. - Jet Jaguar BD
Rebuilding. Matt Ryan and this offense are going to disappoint. Koo will finish outside the top 10 fantasy kickers this year simply based on lack of opportunities.

I still can't believe they fired that college coach after he tried a 70 yard FG at the end of a half.
pretty good chance nobody will snitch on you to the refs

Have an 8 man that we care more about getting together and drinking then actually ff, so we do it early. Unfortunately, I took Akers in that one. Ouchies
We've been talking about how horrible this team has been for YEARS.
I say bring on other topics. There's only so much of this Eichel talk a guy can take. We should put a moratorium on Eichel talk until (if ?) he's traded - that'd be awesome. And honestly, I like the political talk...the back and forth...the arguing. It's actually fun to read and participate in - unlike Sabre-talk.

Sabres have been so boring for years you need to bring other topics in this forum to keep it alive

A couple of Ducks fans wondered if McTavish was signed so quickly due to being a part of an Eichel trade.
I would argue that what I proposed is close to as fair a value as the Sabres are going to get for Eichel.
I don't believe the Sabres are getting the best prospect from any team for Eichel, even if he was fully healthy and producing, and it's due to the very public divorce between the Sabres and Eichel. - kingcong39
I was off enjoying the day at a party yesterday right after my original response to you...so I'm catching up now.
We see the primary reason for Eichels depressed trade value a bit differently. It is what it is.
Furthermore, by eliminating 1 reason for that depressed value then enables the potential for an increase in future value when teams who need a top 5 or 10 1C see the timeline of securing one ending on 7/1/22.
Play the long game Kevyn (no choice now), get him his surgery now to profit in a big way later.

Top 3-5 fantasy kicker.
Cheap, big leg and already a pressure kicker
Go Bill's! - Boss34
Only thing I can see holding him back is a good problem for Bills fans to haveβ¦ they score TDs instead of settling for FGs. Happened with Butker two years ago, when the talk was all the Chiefs elite offense. They didnβt kick many FGs so no fantasy points.

Good post
Guy missed 1 field goal as a rookie in the second half of the regular season.
17 straight filed goals at 1 point, but he has a tendency to pull the ball when kicking field goals?
Longest rookie fieldgoal in nfl playoff history.
Weather would be another concern, and the blowout factor. When the Bill's are far ahead in games and punt 50+ yard attempts to pin the opponents.

Everybody else
I'm Feeling confident in my assessment of Bass.
Top 3-5 fantasy kicker.

Boss: "I still don't understand that his critique was a reflection of his 1st 3 or 4 games based on facts of pulling right on right side of field kicks, and missing ~50% of his kicks in the 31 -40 yard range resulting in a overall low 70% conversion rate through those 4 weeks...
So I'll ignore that and attack him 12 weeks later and then again 11 months later"

Right. For fantasy purposes, give me the guy thatβll get 40 attempts vs 30. EP are nice, but even if you get negative points for a miss, Iβll take the guy who hits 7 more FGs based upon volume vs 15 more EPs.

Good troll job. - IonSabres
Ok, you highlight another poster saying " he has to stop pulling kicks to the left".
Implying he STILL has the problem.
I point out only 1 miss in the last 8 or 9 regular season games. You call names.
Whenever you lose an argument, you call me a troll
Bass will be awesome. You will continue to look foolish for wanting to cut a rookie kicker after week 5.
Trust the process big guy
I will continue to remind you of your terrible take.
Fold your 6'5+ frame up and hide under the couch. He's gonna be kicking a ton of field goals this season.
