My wife and I opted to spend one tenth of the money and go see John Fogerty at the end of the month at the casino. I bet Billy Joel is going to be great though. - lacaprup

granted we have better up front players, but these goalies are dog shat at best, we are going to give up over 300 goals this year maybe even 350. - hehateme
I for one would enjoy the season more if they just played the whole game with an empty net.
I mean honestly what’s the difference? |

Yeah, no way is a retractable roof
In 2007 Heinz field cost about $300 million. Steel cost was about $400 per pound…now it’s about triple.
Then there’s the increase of other materials. So to just build a replica Heinz field it’s about $1 billion. With the rumor about covered seats but open air and amenities I could easily see $1.4 billion open air stadium.
Hell Cowboys stadium cost $1.3 billion to build in 2009 - Stripes77
$400/LB!? LOL, scrappers all over the country must be becoming millionaires. You might want to check your units or hope like hell the Pegulas don't get steel from your supplier. |

I just hope the kids take strides in the right direction next season. I know the bar is incredibly low but it would be nice to see someone outperform expectations for once. If a guy like Dahlin could take a Fox or Makar-type of leap (I know, I'm trying to be optimistic) at least that would be something worth discussing. Or Mittelstadt was able to chip in 20 goals. Or at the very least not have to watch Jack look up to the ceiling and dog it back to the bench every time he wires a wrist shot around the glass and down the ice back into our zone. |

Why isn't your guy taking back over today?
Today's the 13th right?
Reinstatement day must be pushed off again?

Everything is delayed til the market corrects itself. Steel now skyrocketed to $1,200/LB! |

only three teams have given up 300 or more goals in a season since the '04/'05 and none of them had under 17 regulation wins and the lowest point total was 58 ('05-'06 pens)...
that '14/'15 sabres team gave up a 16th worst 278 goals (14 rw/54 points)...
also in that time frame the '13/'14 sabres scored 150 goals, worst in that span while the '14/'15 sabres scored 153, second worst in that span
those were historically bad teams and i don't believe this edition will be historically bad (but then again, they keep testing new lows) |

Adams is still new to the tank, Terry took over when it came to choosing next seasons goalies. This next season is going to have fans cheering for loses again.

Fans understand the reason for the plan this season, each loss is that much closer to a chance at Wright.
Fans have learned that this is the approach of the organization and will cheer for that success, which is this season loses |
