There is a analytic statistic that measures passes to “open” receivers (what criteria goes into that I’m not completely sure) but he was last in the league in that too his rookie year and it wasn’t pretty year two either.

Going from that to a top 5 QB in one offseason is pretty crazy.

Definitely made me eat my hat there.

I like matching up size and characteristics between qb 1 and qb 2. I think these guys are similar size, age and playing style.

I would assume Diggs played a huge role forsure, the guy is an absolute cheat code against man coverage.

Allen deserves a lot of credit too though for Diggs’ numbers as at the end of the day he does have to deliver the ball to him and Diggs never had those types of numbers in Minny.

Kind of like the NFL version of Ovechkin and Backstrom. Ovechkin is quite possibly the games greatest goal scorer but to say that he didn’t benefit from Backstrom’s elite play making ability in a sense would be false. Ditto Backstrom, he probably still has a HOF caliber career himself but when you have Ovechkin on the other side of his passes it definitely helps inflate the numbers.

The Bills are sitting pretty, just gotta figure out how to beat the Chiefs.

Sure, but that was all arranged before it became blatantly obvious the Chinese Communist Party either knowingly or accidentally released a plague upon humanity. Like how Beane has set himself up to, they still have almost 7m in cap space. Still can go out and get himself a player or 2 if he doesn't like what he see's at a position.
