No need to have this conversation again. We disagree and that’s fine. - Peter Richards
There was no need to have it the first time. |

RIP Jay. One of the better writers, If you are on these message boards you likely have already read Flyers at 50 and Full Spectrum, but if you have not they are absolute musts, Great facts, details and history that bring the fanbase to a whole new level. Maybe Jay makes the Flyers hall one day...................... |

Thornton likely wants to play for a team that he views as a contender. Flyers aren't looking for points from that spot. They want a defensive checking center who can help the PK. That's not Thornton. - MJL
This should be Hayes and Couturier. |

Wonderful Tribute, Bill! Condolences to the Greenberg family as well as you and all his colleagues. Always enjoyed Mr. Greenberg’s works, especially Full Spectrum and Flyers at 50! He did a wonderful job writing about hockey and covering the Flyers. Rest In Peace. - HockeyLifer
Well said!
When Jay wrote, I would respond once in a while. To his credit, he often answered in his own unique style, injecting his brand of humor. I’ll always remember that.
As I mentioned in the main post to Bill, it’s his honor to fill the space Jay occupied. I have no doubt, Bill will be just as revered as Jay, if he isn’t already.
RIP Jay!!

He's 19 and it's August. He'll be back playing before you know it. - MJL
Obviously I sincerely hope you are right. But geez, these shoulder injuries can be career ending if serious enough. We've seen it so many times. Its really feels like a curse on these poor kids! |
