I've heard all sorts of things about how much these two should be paid. Petey I think is much easier for term and dollars.

Hughes though. We know the NHL pays players for scoring. Hughes one of the best scoring Dmen in the league. He's a defensemen though and not very good defensively. Is that really much different than a defensive defensemen that doesn't score.

Nighthawk keeps saying 6x6 for Hughes. Which I think is a good number. I think you would be hard to get Hughes at the same number as Myers unless you tell Quinn that he doesn't play the PK and hasn't been very good 5v5. His shooting percentage also dropped last season.

When I think about how people see twitter with all the BS, the hype, the group think etc... I wonder what people on here would think about Twitter if they dropped anything to do with hockey/sports and politics?

I was on twitter for a couple/few years before I started following Canucks related stuff. I followed fishing, bird watching, music, a few beautiful woman who were incredibly funny... Twitter was enjoyable. I used it to journal my fishing trips with pic posting, repost humor etc... a good time all round.

Then I started following Canuck's related stuff. Wow... talk about a culture shock. No wonder Canuck's fans have their reputation around the league.

In my experience hockey dads were the worst.
