Ads and sponsors are the reason 16 year old YouTube kids are millionaires. Everyone knew this was coming. NHL is just behind the times in comparison to every other professional sports league

And kids love it. Kids love watching other kids play with toys and talk about new toys. I imagine its similar to why people like to watch cooking shows, or why people like watching live streamers.

Parents love it cause they get a sense of whether or not the toy would be appropriate for their kids without having to fork out the hundred or so dollars for it.

I think that is a reasonable expectation, AND in line with what Don is trying to say, you just said it more eloquently.

I, however, am not expecting he will perform at that level. His point totals will depend heavily on PP usage and zone starts. If he and Poolman are the “shutdown” pair I think both his counting stats and his defensive metrics will be sub par.

Something you use on the daily is a bit different.

My 10 year old watches kids open toys. Then wants the toy. $30 later or something it's sitting in a bucket that only gets taken out once a month and she's back to watching them open different toys and wants a new one.
