Fair Fitz, very fair. I get where you're coming from. Just so (frank)ing sick of the Eichel drama now that I need a Xanax and a glass or bourbon to move along! - Pingleheimer
Yeah, it’ll be nice when he’s finally traded
I’m glad Adams is holding out for a good return though
And I’ll just (mostly) ignore all the BS in the meantime
Doesn’t do any good to get wrapped up in it anyways (imo)
Thanks for this! Didn't know they made something new. Their last album from 2010 was excellent, as you can see by this video for "Fresh!", from the album : "Something For Everybody". Talk about a banger - check this out !
DEVO holds a huge place in my heart. Basically the first band I ever liked. In the 70's, I was sick to death of all my brothers' music (Led Zep, KISS, BTO, ELP, all that crap), but then my older sister introduced me to DEVO and thus began my intro into weirdo music. So if DEVO was the first music I ever liked, you can imagine how my musical taste has progressed over the decades. No longer a huge fan of them or anything, but they were there in the beginning to start my effed-up musical catalogue.

From the reports by Fairburn and Buscaglia, sounds like the Bill's still have issues at CB/NB and depth at T. Wonder what Beane has up his sleeve to address those areas.
Most Universities require Freshman to dorm, as well. I mean, he only went there 1 year when all was said and done, but I don't think NCAA hockey is the cash-cow that football is... And football players are predominantly lower-middle class and working-class - A stark contrast to hockey, which has always and will always be a middle-class and upper-middle class sport. Therefor, football players are eligible for more financial aid and scholarship money. Seems like they are not 100% paid for but close.
BU is also in the Division I FCS for football - The secondary division after the "top" schools. I don't think they get the same treatment as the Division I FBS, but I really am not sure.
As far as the hockey program, yeah it's as obscure as it gets.
The whole thing is complicated and sketchy though. The more money you have/make, the more free things you get. - Jet Jaguar BD
That's taking the average of the entire student body. You're factoring in students that got scholarships and those that paid in full with none at all. There is no way an athlete that talented didn't get his entire ride paid for.

He's going to pay Nikita Kucherov to just show up, get drunk and walk around the practice field without a shirt on. THAT will motivate the starters and backups at CB/NB and T.

Eichel was also pushed on us as a "blue-collar, working-class player" who was "perfect for Buffalo". God I hate that crap.
First of all, gtfoh with that blue-collar crap like we need more of it shoved down our throats in Buffalo, second, he is decidedly NOT working-class, FFS. I hate that narrative so friggin' much. - Jet Jaguar BD

I see CB, but not really T, once Dawkins gets back up to speed. But CB2 is a little worrisome.

That's kinda what I was thinking.. I know it's not even remotely close to the same, but I knew a girl who went to the USD here that got 75% paid for on an athletic scholarship to play soccer. Barely D1. There's no way he didn't get it completely paid for, regardless of where he went.
Another reason I disagree with them being paid. - Jet Jaguar BD
The big names getting paid seems redundant for sure.. But I do like when the walk-ons are able to get scholies that before they couldn't for "work appearances". Pretty cool what BYU did, and can see a lot of companies doing that as well for the bigger schools. How far reaching, or just football who knows. Still a good side of NIL.

Well sure, THAT would, as would winning two league championships back to back and being one of the best crunch time performers to lead the team.

I will check this out when I get home from work. It's a shame they are most known for their worst song.
