The Sabres "earned" Eichel through a miserable season and drafted him at #2oa. He has 5 years left on his deal.

The Sabres signed Hall to a one-year deal and had nothing other than money invested in him. He was a rental winger.

Look I’m the furthest thing from a KAGM cheerleader, however Taylor Hall waiving for the Bruins and nobody else isn’t one of things I’m going to chastise the guy for. Taking Jack Quinn over half of the guys in the 2020 first round is one of them.

Should he have gotten more for Reinhart ? Ideally yes but the market stunk.

Timing plays a role in market psychology and we picked the worst time to move high end forward talent. Just like how the price of oil was negative at one point last year, now is back at $66 bucks despite it being the same oil it has always been.

Hall's a fine player who was incredibly disappointing here largely because of Krueger which is, ironically, also the reason he signed here. He had a bad season and was moved for a mediocre return.

I take the acquisition cost into consideration, as well as his performance, his trade clauses and his contract status because these variables had a very real-world impact on the return the Sabres got.

That's why I've been championing the idea that the Sabres should play hardball with Eichel rather than sell him for pennies on the dollar.

The Sabres can afford to wait this out, even if the hockey media in every corner of NA believes otherwise. They had no such luxury with Hall

So any of you guys use a pellet smoker? Green Mountain specifically. Buddy works at a place he can get me the mid range model (ledge) for 700ish with all the fixings, cover, heat “blanket” pellets the whole nine of it. Just wondering if it’s worth it. Retail is 900 for just the grill so a good deal, but would like some reviews from people first.

So the Sabres hire Kennefy and Paetch for player development? Are you kidding me? These 2 guys couldn't figure out how to play the game themselves. Based on what skill sets are they going to develope talent? This team is more of a joke every day

Way too expensive. I bought a Pit Boss XL1000 for a few hundred from walmart. Works great.
