And patches in Vegas.. and that’s about it. So like I said, pretty rare. Pointing out 1 doesn’t make it a real common occurrence

Half of Sam's goals?

That's a fabrication and total bullpoop.

I once broke up with a girl, and she asked my why...I said it's because she's a manipulative, selfish, conceited, and clingy wench who has a bad complexion, hates animals, slept with my best friend, tried to set my bed on fire, lied to me about at least ten things, and is untrustworthy.

And all she could say was, "I have good skin!!!!".

She subsequently ran for Congress as a Sarah Palin wannabe, and lost.

Players are worth what others are willing to give up for them.

Skinner isn’t worth $72M either but here we are.

Sam’s worth was a 1st round pick and Devon Levi.

Live with it.

How are you going to feel when the return for Eichel is Chytil, Schneider, and the Rangers 2022 1st?

I honestly can’t get over that the two posters bashing someone’s previous opinions, were the two posters defending the Sabres signing Cody Eakin.

If they're selling him for that little, they may as well send him to Vegas instead of NY

I remember one poster who claimed that Eakin's production on Winnipeg was an indicator of how good a signing it was 😅😅😅

You know, I was never going to bring this up because of how embarrassing it is

But do you remember how you defended Cody Eakin and said how he’d be so much better than the analytics said he was? And he’d be a good third liner?

Make sure that’s on your resume next time you post it

- sbroads24

Well, that was because you couldn't keep it in your pants for the loss of Johan Larsson and how he was such a terrible loss and Selke worthy, blah, blah, blah.

How is the great Kahun doing these days, does he have his 5th or 6th team yet?

Sure. How does Stephenson, Elvenes, Brisson, and a 2022 1st sound from Vegas?

Great, right?

You defended one of, if not the worst regular forward in the NHL as being a good third liner.

Anything you say is irrelevant

And I was never going to bring it up, but hey, had to get that 7 year old Tyler Myers shot out one last time huh?

Well I can’t help the fact that the other teams won’t give up their best prospects. It’s also pretty unlucky the player in question has an injury that isn’t helping much.

I’d rather get Chytil, Schneider and the Rangers 2022 1st than Studnicka and a used condom

The absolute worst thing to do is take crap return from an EC team.

From there, there are various levels of bad ideas

You liked Cody Eakin.

Nothing you say has any merit whatsoever

- sbroads24

Liked is a reach, fine for a replacement for the great Johan Larsson being no great loss but if you want to say like go for it. I knew about as much about Eakin as I do any of the Russians we drafted this year. But any warm body would not have been a huge loss in the bell curve from Larsson.

So if that’s the return, just live with it because that was the market? Despite Eichel not being a UFA and thus not having a hard deadline to trade him?

I feel like this line of thinking is due to Sabres Stockholm Syndrome, where long time Sabres fans are so accustomed to poop decisions and results that they just take whatever happens and say oh well, and move on.

Comfortably numb.

KA's Free agent signings have been a nightmare 2 years in a row.

He got a Brinks truck for Ristolainen and a Golf Cart for Reinhart.

He hasn't traded Eichel yet but he hired Granato.

The Pegulas are terrible owners and crappy people. Thank God the Bills brass told them to stay away, or we'd be wondering what could have been if Donald Trump had bought the Bills and never run for President.

Actually. I wish that's what would have happened. Funny how no one wanted Trump to buy the Bills and they hated him for even considering it, but they all loved him running for President and thought he did a great job Making America Great Again. Imagine how great he would have made the Bills again.

The plot twist here is that neither the Bills nor the United States were ever great at any point. The Bills had a good run of being the best losers for 4-years running, but America?

All men created equal. Except the slaves. And the Indians. And the children. And the women. And the men who didn't own land. And the sailors. And the farmers. And the lower-classes in general. And they also didn't want a Democracy (this is true). And they also paid people to scalp Indians. And they also said God willed the blacks to be slaves and it was up to him to free them. And then half the country went to war with the other half over it. And then they got back together and said okay the slaves can be free but only 3/5 of a man. And then they declared war on Mexico. And then they declared war on Spain. And then they annexed the Kingdom of Hawaii. And then they finished the Indian genocide. And then they said okay women can vote, too but they can't have a bank account. And then they entered the Great War after saying 'nah' until the last second. And then they blamed the Germans. And then they created money out of thin air and gave it to people and created the credit/debt system. And then they had a great depression. And then they said man screw the rest of the world, America is gonna do America for a while. And then that lasted a few years. And then Hitler made Germany Great Again. And everyone loved him. And then he started killing the Jews. And then America said okay the Jews can all come here, but only the smart ones. And then they helped create the Atomic Bomb because they thought America would drop it on Germany. And then America let Japan bomb Pearl Harbor, so they could drop the bomb on them. And then America took credit for a war that Russia won. And then America said to the returning soldiers to keep their women barefoot and pregnant so they wouldn't divorce them. And then they had a lot of babies. And then Russia and America played chess and no one won and they sat at the chessboard for 50 years. And then they started dropping Atomic Bombs on their own people and random islands. And then America declared War on Vietnam. And a bunch of people wanted to have sex and do drugs. And then they let women finally have bank accounts. And then disco happened. And then cocaine happened. And then Vietnam won the war. And then crack happened. And then Regan finally killed worker's unions. And then America declared war on Iraq. And then they lost the war but said they didn't. And then Clinton got his wiener sucked in the Oval Office by an intern and lied. And then LA had some riots. And then OJ Simpson murdered 2 people and got away with it because of what happened in the LA riots. And then Al Gore said "Global Warming" and everyone called him a fag. And then George Bush's son became President. And then CIA trained operatives flew some planes into 2 buildings and 10 buildings collapsed. And then baby Bush declared war on Iraq. And then, ladies and gentleman, we got him. But then we needed pain-killers for the wounded soldiers. And then we invaded Afghanistan for opium and heroin and because we needed to make cell phones. And then the housing market crashed. And then a black man became President and promised change. And then things got worse. And then Trump tried to buy the Buffalo Bills and people were like no man (frank) Trump. And then Trump ran for President. And people were like oh hell yeah! And then he tried to stage a military coup and the military generals were like oh hell no! And then a geriatric Alzheimer's patient became President. And then we lost the war in Afghanistan. And oh yeah turns out Al Gore wasn't a fag, the world is really starting on fire and China made a bat disease kill a bunch of people but maybe they didn't?

Make Hockeybuzz Great Again! But it never was.

Yeah, comfortably numb with drafting Reinhart and trading for and signing the great Jeff Skinner. Signing Moulson, wondering what is up with Montour? Why did so many people love the great Larsson? I could go on, it's just we disagree on the sh*t players or I don't raise certain ones as some do here.

Why some love players that brought this team to the gutter is beyond me.

Eichel does have a hard deadline to be traded before he can pick his destination himself.

If Minny, Vegas, Anaheim, don’t want to move the high end prospects needed to satisfy the trade why would they do it next offseason or at the trade deadline this year ?

The Sabres sold high on Reinhart as well, his value had never been higher yet we got what we got for him. If we wait till the deadline how much more would we have gotten for him ? Is it possible we may have gotten more ? Sure. Is it possible he would have gotten hurt and we got nothing ? Yes.

Welcome to a flat cap era where teams are prioritizing picks and prospects and don’t have the salary cap space to fit a Sam Reinhart. Especially when we are talking about the 2022 and 2023 draft classes which are going to be flooded with talent.

I’m already confident in saying the player we draft with the Panthers pick will be on par, if not better than Isak Rosen
