I look at Adams' body of trade work, and what he's doing to hold out for a desired Jack return, and come to the conclusion that he's familiar with the worth of players at various stages of the year. When you're stuck (like Hall) or see a potential peak value (like Reinhart), you do what you need to do and move on.

No one needs to like it. I'd have liked to trade Reinhart for Knight or for Lundell or Denisenko, but clearly that value wasn't there. Cause if it was, I think Adams holds out for it.

Some where saying as high as a second if he was 3 inches taller.. Who knows with goalies. Also, he wouldn't be the first person to grow at age 19. Book isn't written yet. And I will go on record as calling him "decent" I guess.

Think this is certainly plausible. Time will tell. My preference, would have been taking Wallstadt at 14, and getting Denisenko/Tippitt if that's the best we coulda done from Fla.
