Natural stat trick does

In the 25 games from March 18th on he played

He still had a relatively low on ice Xgf % of 42%, however there’s a bulk of players that are only slightly above him so it’s not a huge difference

It also isn’t Cody Eakin bad who posted a whopping 37% XGf% in 19 games

Thompson’s individual production did increase though by a lot

Ona really positive note Dahlin had the teams best Xgf% since the coaching switch and was the only regular player above 50%

This year is a make or break year for Tage.

He has good hands, good shot, skates well for his size.

All the raw traits won’t matter though if he can’t put it together on a consistent basis

I'd like to see him pot 15 goals this year.

It would be swell if we could get 30ish points from each member of the 3rd line.

I know who I'm arguing with, so I'm not going to spend much time on this. But I'll play along. What was I wrong about with Risto?

And the stats do, in fact, say so about Larsson vs Eakin. If you're going to go with plus minus, we might as well talk about which doggies are the cutest. If you want to go with box score, it is fact that Eakin has more goals. Just like Ristolainen has more goals than ME Vlasic in the same amount of time. But it would be ignorant at best to say that, at similar ages, Ristolainen was a better defenseman than Vlasic.

Trade 3: Robert Hägg, 2021 1st Round Pick, 2023 2nd round pick for Rasmus Ristolainen

This trade was a bit of a head-scratcher as Ristolainen had performed pretty poorly during his tenure in Buffalo. Adding in this year’s first round pick is what was the biggest shock as many saw Ristolainen as not worth that; however, a big-bodied physical defenseman is what the Flyers seemed to be missing though as many fans called the team “soft” last season.

Sam is still the better player. His value positionally is clearly less than an RHD. Ristos effect on his new team will be exponentially worse.
