You can’t win by giving up more goals than you score either.

The Sabres scored more goals during the 2019/2020 regular season than the Stars, Isles, and Columbus. Two of those teams made it to the final 4 (Dallas/Isles) with one losing in the cup final (Dallas) the other made the playoffs and knocked out the Leafs in the play in round (Columbus)

Eakin and Risto getting points is completely nulllified by the fact they give up twice as many points defensively as they do offensively.
