Agreed, but there seems to be a militant never-canada faction of hockey fans.
Somehow southerm markets and cities where they'd be the 4th most popular team is more viable than the biggest, and only, show in town. - mr.peanut
yep. tv ratings. companies want their tv ads to be seen in big markets, like Atlanta, Phoenix, Houston.... even if there's no hockey fan there. they don't give a poop about Qc city.

We did Atlanta twice, not a Hockey Town. Phoenix hasn't worked. Houston had a successful WHA Team however Gordie and His Boys were there.

Coyotes were averaging 7,200 households on tv.
A lot of potential eyes, but they're looking elsewhere
I see people seriously suggesting atlanta as a landing spot for the coyotes - mr.peanut
what "people" exactly? I'd find it so depressing if they went back there instead of a city where fans would actually be passionate about hockey, such as Quebec.

LOL, that site seems to be populated for the most part, by People recently released from a Mental Health Institution. IMHO. It's the AHL for THB. - Benny Blanco
