I mean, I suppose it’s possible, but I highly doubt this will happen.

I don’t think any Canuck is flirting with 100 pts on the season, and I don’t think the 5th & 6th forward will both break 50 pts maybe they get five players past 50 pts.

400 pts means all 6 average 67(rounded up) points. I see EP, Miller, Boeser all being above that, and Garland and Bo being around that. The 6th forward will bring the average down around that 67pts each.

Yeah, I get how averages work, I just don’t see everyone growing at the rates they would need to to get the average there.

EP career average 76pts over 82 games. I bet he improves.
Miller since join Canucks 79, is see him staying around there.
Boeser career average 68pts, last year was 71. I say he is around there or better
Bo is 51 with last 2 years being 60. He did that with average wingers and now has Garland with him. I see 65 or so.
Garland was 65 last year playing with lesser talent to Bo.

I see our top 6 able to average 67 points easily based off these 5.

Yeah, it could happen. I don’t expect everyone to have a career year.

EP has never played 82 games
If Boeser is playing second line his points will go down

Crazy sad news about Jimmy Hayes, they just had a son two months ago, very sad and strange for a 31 year old to die suddenly in bed.

Boeser will be 1st line with EP and Miller. If he isn't than Garland is. Which ever one it is will see 70+. EP will likely be around a ppg or better. The kid just gets better every year. Even at 70 games he will have 70 or more pts. He also only missed 1 game 2 years ago. It is not out of the realm of possibility that be plays a full 82.

They would be career years.

Petey has never hit 70 pts and has never played a full year . He has been injured for a significant number of games in two of three years.

Miller hit 70 pts once in his career so it is not an average. Same as Boeser .His highest has been 56 points.

You are giving numbers for a perfect year and that seldom happens.

Green moved Boeser around last year . If Garland is a steady producer , Boeser could be on Bo's line.

When Ep was injured, the line was broken up. When healthy, together the entire time.

Garland is a career .585 PPG. Last year 25% of his production came 5 on 4. He may end up on line 2 with Bo drawing matchup minutes and PP2.

Expecting every player to produce their best year yet is a big ask.

I agree, they will score plenty more goals this year than last, but my money is on a lot of that increased production coming from the bottom 6.

The Canucks will kick ass this season. If not, barring another variant attack or mass injuries, its a failure. Failure will mean firings and trades.

Probably written by some basement dwelling twinkie but a reasonably fair assessment nonetheless.
