I see the Oilers joined the Canucks and Jets in requiring proof of vaccination to attend games. It's gonna be hilarious to watch the redneck meltdowns over how they're being "discriminated against" on twitter tonight

I feel sorry for the ones that need to turn these inbred swine away at the door, and deal with the childlike meltdowns.

I see some fantastic Twitter videos coming our way over the next couple of months. Always enjoyed the Karen and Ken meltdowns.

it wasn't meant for you as I said peanut gallery. You're far removed from being a skeptic. As everyone knows, you're an anti-fan that rejoices in Canuck misery.

This time it’s not cards. You have to register on-line and then they will send you a digital document with a bar code that verifies your status. It’s going to be very difficult to cheat.

Back in the 60 s their music was rebellious . They were the bad boys . I didn't actually like them when I was growing up but at the same time thought they were pretty good . Stones/Beatles rivalry. Eventually people realized how great they were.
- VANTEL

I was more of a Beatles guy at first until I really gave the Stones some attention. Got into the Stones a bit in the 80's but again was off/on and hit/miss. I'd take Led Zeppelin over either any day...

Oilers announced electronic or paper records will be accepted.

And I think an option of providing a negative test within 48 hours was being looked at.

Honestly it's not a big thing. Haven't been to a live NHL game in awhile as prices are out of control. If NHL and businesses want to support those mandates they are free do so. As I am free to vote with my dollars and not support it and make my own choices. Pretty basic.

It's close but It's Zep for me. Beatles are great but can be very repetitive where the Stones diversified quite a bit over their careers. Zep has a way less body of work than either the Beatles or Stones but IMO 6 of the 8 Zep albums are just so hard to beat with ANY Beatles or Stones album hell...Led Zeppelin might be the greatest rock band ever lol

Not that I'm against vaccinations, we got ours as soon as we could and are both double vaccinated, that said, wouldn't it make more sense to have to provide a false test rather than vaccination records? I say that because, fully vaccinated people can still spread the virus like wildfire. Being vaccinated simply means you won't get as sick as an unvaccinated person, you can still transmit the virus as easily as an unvaccinated person.

Wait.
You're advocating for breaking laws?

I thought you had RCMP in your family and were into law enforcement?

Zeppelin is one of my favourites for sure but I think I like Pink Floyd and Queen more.

I just have so much respect for the Beatles because they were one of the firsts, and they basically set the the direction of pop/rock music for generations.

Ideally you'd want both (double vax and a negative test), but that sounds like a logistical nightmare to organise.
You're gonna get 18000+ ppl to get a negative test the day before an event?

Better to have the double vax and reduce the risks i guess.

Viruses travel. Unavoidable. It’s never been about stopping it. It’s always been about reducing hospitalizations. Vaccines reduce hospitalizations.

Flames just announced the fans need proof also. I think it is going to be pretty standard right across the continent soon.

Queen for sure had a chance to be the GOAT before Mercury died of AIDS, nobody has or had the range he had as a singer since then. Some of their songs are legendary just from being on movies like Iron Eagle, Highlander et. al. I've always loved Zep and Pink Floyd but just because of my love for Highlander I'll put Queen on my list as my favorite pop/rock band.

Ya again a tough one as I admire Queen and Floyd so much too.

Not a fan of early Syd Barrett Floyd but from DSOTM to Animals to WYWH and the Wall that is some work that may never be topped.

I would put Queen right there with Led Zeppelin and Floyd as well. But in a bit of a different manner. Like the Beatles and Stones I found Queen to be sporadic at times. But their best albums hold up to pretty much anything.

Agree, it would be really difficult for the organizations to logistically pull that off.
