Flames just announced the fans need proof also. I think it is going to be pretty standard right across the continent soon.
- VANTEL

Flames and Hitmen announced it yesterday. Standard for now as it's a big narrative but we'll see long term. NHL has quite a bit of empty seats to fill...

Viruses travel. Unavoidable. It’s never been about stopping it. It’s always been about reducing hospitalizations. Vaccines reduce hospitalizations.

That makes sense, I knew I could rely on you, a person in the field, to provide an informed opinion. Reduce the pressure on the healthcare system, I fully understand that.

I don’t think that is accurate. Please do some more research.

Queen for sure had a chance to be the GOAT before Mercury died of AIDS, nobody has or had the range he had as a singer since then. Some of their songs are legendary just from being on movies like Iron Eagle, Highlander et. al. I've always loved Zep and Pink Floyd but just because of my love for Highlander I'll put Queen on my list as my favorite pop/rock band.
- DariusKnight

Yeah I like Queen and the Eagles a lot more than I liked Zeppelin . Hell I even liked Blind Faith more than LZ

I guess each to their own.

Highlander is such a great film and Queen did so well with that soundtrack. Album titled 'A kind of Magic'

Even if Freddy Survived not sure I could get there to a GOAT level. Their music was tapering off quite a bit and getting pretty experimental which is fine...but fans were waning. They had a great run though one of the best of all time for sure.

It should be about stopping it, because at the rate this virus is mutating, it's not going to be long before vaccines won't protect against hospitalizations or death anymore. There's a reason places like India, Pakistan, Brazil and part of Africa are the origins for some of the more recent variants we're being troubled with now and with Biden's 'plan' for leaving Afghanistan and bringing over thousands of refugees that have been all smooshed together at the airport for days, more and possibly deadlier variants might be weeks or a few months away.

I just read the Vancouver Canadians are not going to play the rest of their home games in Canada . I seen the empty stadium BC Lions played to also. I think it is still a ways away of full capacity. At least they will have ads on the jerseys to ease the loss.

Ideally you'd want both (double vax and a negative test), but that sounds like a logistical nightmare to organise.
You're gonna get 18000+ ppl to get a negative test the day before an event?

Better to have the double vax and reduce the risks i guess.

- dbot

But does it?

https://nationalpost.com/...ns-among-fully-vaccinated

Double vax still wears off. So what will you do long term rope yourself into a booster every year for 87 different 'variants' lol

Personally I can't wait for the triple-vaxxed to turn on the double-vaxxed. I'll give it 6 months. lol

I don’t believe that “vaccinated people spread the virus as easily, or as much as unvaccinated people”. Part of the result of being vaccinated is you are much less likely to contract the virus and if you do, you are much more likely to have mild symptoms. There’s two parts in there. Being less likely to contract the virus means you are MUCH less likely to spread it as well.

Plus, I just thought you could stand to do some research, it’s good for your soul.

There are laws that make sense then there are laws that...

well you can figure it out from there.

…there are laws that aren’t. Better check the constitution…..

Oh brother, now you’re talking my language! Steve Winwood, Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Ric Grech. Now that is a “super group”. And like many super-groups they were together for a cup of coffee and then gone. But their time together was so sweet.

All true but it will take decades or more to eradicate. We still haven’t got rid of the multitude of flu viruses let alone a new strain like SARS. It’s here for good so best approach would be to build up antibodies so it effects us no more than a seasonal flu virus.
