one can only listen to Sweet Home Alabama and Free Bird so many times before you want to gouge out your eardrums.

I went to 4 games between the last 2 seasons and it was empty before covid anyways.
- Retinalz

Could be the $12 beers. I went to the Lions game a couple years ago and was blown away by the prices. Bring back the $7 warm draft prices.

Oh brother, now you’re talking my language! Steve Winwood, Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Ric Grech. Now that is a “super group”. And like many super-groups they were together for a cup of coffee and then gone. But their time together was so sweet.

Funny I like Winwood's vocals but not a big fan of Robert Plant . Yeah Blind Faith was great . Wasted and can't find my way home still is a go to song when sitting and in heavy thought.

Those are 2 of the most popularfor sure, but there's so much more, Simple Man, Ballad of Curtis Lowe the list goes on and on.
On another note not sure how old you are but did you ever watch the animated Fat Albert show? They used to play Skynyrd on it.

A
Saw Steve Miller at an outdoor concert in Sandpoint Idaho in 2013. Music was great it he sat on a stool for most the night. Matt Anderson opened for him as a solo act, I now have all his music and have gone to see him several times in Kelowna. Another great musician from Cape Breton.

That’s interesting. I sat 8 feet from Bonnie at the Whitecaps game on Saturday and watched as she took selfies with multiple strangers. No masks. She is operating day to day

I see the Oilers joined the Canucks and Jets in requiring proof of vaccination to attend games. It's gonna be hilarious to watch the redneck meltdowns over how they're being "discriminated against" on twitter tonight

My 2 cents.

I have risks, I got vaxxed. I shouldn't tell anyone else how to live.

MAKING people do things...I don''t know.

I don't believe in abortion, but I believe a woman should be in control of her body.

If mandatory vaxing MIGHT save a life/lives, if we outlaw abortion we guarantee saving lives.

So........"My body, my choice" or Do what you are told..

Not that I'm against vaccinations, we got ours as soon as we could and are both double vaccinated, that said, wouldn't it make more sense to have to provide a false test rather than vaccination records? I say that because, fully vaccinated people can still spread the virus like wildfire. Being vaccinated simply means you won't get as sick as an unvaccinated person, you can still transmit the virus as easily as an unvaccinated person.
- LeftCoaster

It is more about using incentives (access to games, restaurants, etc) to (1) increase the number of vaccine shots in arms and (2) reduce the impact on the health care system. Vaccines will stop the escalation of the disease but not necessarily the existence of it. Best option currently available…hopefully we can slow COVID down and then ultimately eradicate it.

I sort of feel the same . I got the vax and so has my family but I don't feel I have the right to force someone to get it. Instead I stay socially distanced and wear a mask.

A fetus isnt a human yet, thats why abortion is permissable. Your comparison is off. No one is being forced, but they were with polio which worked out.

When is life Life then.?

Comparing Covid with polio isn't a fair comparison either.

Most medical experts compare it to a highly transmittable (and deadlier) flu bug.

Same.

I'll never label a person nor ridicule them for a personal choice when it comes to their health. We live life in our own bodies not someone else's.

All true but it will take decades or more to eradicate. We still haven’t got rid of the multitude of flu viruses let alone a new strain like SARS. It’s here for good so best approach would be to build up antibodies so it effects us no more than a seasonal flu virus.

I worry with how fast this thing has mutated, this could end up like AIDS with antibodies being useless against it.

A story from Keith Richards about Charlie Watts. Sorry if someone is off because it is not hockey related.
